You mean "competition" ? Isn't that what happened with the 2017 class with so many big guards / wing players?
Honestly, if players want to come, there is room for them, and they know they have to compete for playing time, I don't see a problem. They know what they signed up for. What is changing the dynamics of roster depth is unexpected incoming transfers; that just can't be accounted for when high school recruits sign their LOIs.
You're right..........UConn traditionally has carried fewer players then most............competition for the best recruits seems to be stronger then ever (thus parity) so instead of just targeting one player at the same position (Brunelle) they may have to make multiple offers and deal with the consequences like last year........while UConn has always had players transfer, it was never designed to keep the numbers down as I think it is at some other programs........
