seldom fumbles the basketball in traffic
As for BB IQ... he at least knows to keep the ball in bounds when he blocks a shot.![]()
His twitter bio says 2017. Looks like he reclassed sometime in the past year.
Here's a fun read w/ some links: CLICKY!
"durable and protects the rim at a high level. He also sets great screens making it easy for guards to create switches or get off uncontested shots. He also slips and rolls really well in high screen situations. Lastly he also finishes at a high level and seldom fumbles the basketball in traffic."
Looks like he has West Virginia interest as well. Not sure the VerbalCommits list is 100% up to date.
Kid ran with Rens in the AAU circuit, so he's not an unknown.
I'd like us to add a big man grad transfer and am concerned we haven't. I'd like to add another high-upside big like this kid or some other as well. But this isnt your preference at all right? If not mistaken you are all in on the grad transfers right? There have been better 2017's out there late.
He looks to be coachable and have tremendous upside. You put him aside Mamoudou D and there's a lot of rebounds blocks shots and easy buckets. Sign him asap
Sounds like you've seen this kid play. Any insights.I know a good penny stock selling at .oooo1 cents per share on the Pink Sheets. Interested in buying? Lol
It's a good thing you end every post with "lol" otherwise I wouldn't realize they're so funny.I know a good penny stock selling at .oooo1 cents per share on the Pink Sheets. Interested in buying? Lol
Can he be any worse than Briamah.I know a good penny stock selling at .oooo1 cents per share on the Pink Sheets. Interested in buying? Lol
Yeah there's a chance that he's worse than Amida Brimah, third most prolific shot blocker in UConn historyCan he be any worse than Briamah.
Agree, he attempts to keep his hands straight up on defense and keeps the ball up high when he gets an offensive rebound and seems to be making a deliberate attempt to avoid traveling...clearly seems to be listening to his coaches, a very good sign!He looks to be coachable and have tremendous upside. This narrative is so unbelievably tired. He made one of the biggest plays in UConn history, won conference defensive player of the year, and was considered to be one of the best shot blockers in the country throughout his college career. There are going to be plenty of future UConn players that have much worse careers than him.Can he be any worse than Briamah.
True to an extent. Brimah was nothing short of a disappointment his last 2 seasons. So tho he may have accomplished some good things in his career we'd better hope and pray we have bigs better than Brimah in the future because je wasnt all that good. Lovable, hard worker ABSOLUTELY. Great? No...This narrative is so unbelievably tired. He already has a better post game than amida. And better rebounding instincts. This is not hyperbole either. Amida may have been the worst big man in the post in basketball history.....he was that bad. It was borderline embarrassingAnother big raw African kid that's a fluid runner but perhaps a bit clumsy otherwise. Can't imagine he'd be as good as Amida was as a shot blocker at least as a freshman, but has a lot to like. Seems he could end up thicker than Amida. Would be a good fit for the 2017 class, as it seems no quality grad bigs are coming
In the video he's also playing against some pretty bad competition, can't really tell if his post game is better, especially because he barely did any also.He already has a better post game than amida. Very true. Tho its hard to be worseIn the video he's also playing against some pretty bad competition, can't really tell if his post game is better, especially because he barely did any also.
