This team has issues a lot worse than Cespedes and what he's being paid.
 
Limping into the break. Season is done. Next year a lot of these clowns are off books. Can we please get a catcher?
 
I hate this team...starting out strong, gaining ground on the 2nd WC spot and also having some big pieces starting to come back from injuries. They better go like 8-2 or 3-7 over their next 10 because I hate the false hope.

Lame swing, tailor made 6-4-3 DP, game over.

Does anyone else like TJ Rivera? He just seems like one of these guys that always hits. When was the last time Walker played 20 games in a row? Can we give him a spot at 2b or 3b on opening day?

You know the Mets season sucks when fans are touting a .289 hitter who doesn't walk and has no power.
 
He's no super Joe McEwing.
In an ideal year he is a utility player.
Just shows you how overrated Walker is.
 
And can this fool organization get us a 3rd baseman and go after a catcher fir heaven's sake?

I'm a fan. He's not anything special, but for 550k a year or whatever he's making there is definitely value. I actually remember hoping they'd give him a chance a year or so before they did because they had such crap on their bench and, while it's Vegas, not just anyone can hit like .360 in AAA. It's also nice to have someone in the lineup that you can count on to get a single and keep things moving.

Good catchers are just hard to find. TDA is frustrating, especially health wise, but he has been hitting a good amount of XBH's this year and Rivera has been a solid backup. Pitching has been what has killed the team this year.

Cespedes is awful. Like 4th highest paid position player. Awful defensive player, plays so deep gives up tons of hits. Dumb as a stump as a person. Red Sox wanted nothing to deal him.

Most of these Cuban players are a mess. him, Puig, Moncada, Rusney.
