As good as Thor looked yesterday, I'm already wincing every time I open my twitter feed. Matz and Lugo hurting. Wheeler is a huge question mark. Can Thor, DeGrom and Harvey all stay healthy and be enough to win the division?

I doubt it. We will need reinforcements. The guy starting for the Braves tomorrow would have been perfect.

They thought Bartolo was not needed. Never have enough pitching. Stupid moves like that and their sick love affair with d'Arnaud are head scratchers

As much as I wanted him back, the Mets did the right thing in letting Bartolo go. He wants to start bc he's 10 wins away from tying Juan Marichel's record and the Mets couldn't promise that. Plus he's about to be 44, age will catch up at some point.

That being said, depth is important and if someone goes down (beyond Matz and Lugo) I could see them swinging a small trade to bring him back for the stretch run.

Injuries happen, and it makes no sense to give a guy that's about to be 44 $12.5 mil a year when you have to resign Yo, Walker, etc.

I don't fault them for letting Colon go under the circumstances, but I still wish we had him because it's not my money.

I like what I see so far, Harvey looked fantastic the other night.. Thor his usual self, and DeGrom has his velocity back. The Matz situation is unsettling, as is the 3B situation because I'm already tired of Reyes there. Why isn't Flores an option at 3B?

d'Arnaud starting to heat up. If he can produce from the 8 spot this is a potent lineup and scary sight for an opposing pitcher.

My daughter has decided to attend college in Baltimore and we're going to Camden Yards when we return for her summer orientation in June. I'm thinking of adopting the Orioles as my American League team. I've already got the orange covered, too.

Thor scratched with bicep discomfort. Here comes the 15 day DL, then 60 day DL, then shoulder surgery. Ugh.
