2017-18 college basketball thread - Merged threads Archive

Really looking forward to this WSUvs ND game. ND has looked unstoppable in Maui, first test of the season in WSU. Good look at the level UConn needs to play in conference.
 
SMU loses another tournament game this time to UNI in the Battle 4 Atlantis 61-58. 3 upsets later in the Bahamas who had NC State vs UNI in their bracket??
 
Morris just lost his mind and Wichita is frustrated into jacking NBA 3's late in clock. All the momentum with ND.

Agree with much of this but at this point it doesn’t even look like KO is letting Jalen run the offense so would it really be the worst thing to have TW running our offense right now?
 
That was a pretty crushing defeat. I so desperately want the AAC to be respectable.

On the other hand, Wichita State are still really freaking good.

And Wichita was without one of their best players and Shamet isn't even close to 100%. Pretty awful day for us considering the Shockers blew a game they should have won and will be full strength for the games against us and Zona loses without Rawle Alkins.
 
Well 2 more big games tomorrow. Need a strong showing by the good guys. Have a great Thanksgiving! Football in the am. :)

Yes. Shamet had an off night and they are still missing their leading scorer from last year. This is a FF team when 100% healthy.

I'm not sure that team will be good enough to make the NCAA tournament this year, but if they do I wouldn't be surprised if he's 1 and done anyway. He's the type of player who could put on a show in a couple of games in March and get himself drafted in the 1st. Doubtful but it wouldn't shock me
