ESPN Headline:
Goodman: NCAA mishandles Jim Boeheim case ... again

"The NCAA upheld Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim's nine-game ban. But to change the timetable at the last minute is unfathomable. And the only explanation, says Jeff Goodman: That's the NCAA for you."

Hmm, did Goodman or anyone at ESPN say anything about the NCAA changing the timetable for APR calculations?

So basically he should have sat back in Syracuse instead of going to Atlantis, but the NCAA messed up.

That said, the wording the NCAA used seems odd. Almost like they are giving Cuse/Boeheim the option, or conceding to his request to take the punishment earlier.

It could have changed everything in Atlantis if he wasn't there. I mean Hopkins probably would have put them in a 2-3 zone

Tyler Dorsey just had a nasty fall in the Oregon and UNLV game. Still on the ground.

Nice win for gtown. Hopefully they are top 25 by the time we play them

Oy vey. You are the layman.

So if Kentucky and Duke are both overhyped inexperienced freshman teams who exactly is good in your eyes? Also if UCLA is a cupcake, what do you call an actual cupcake team?

What? Layman, layman, layman!!!!!!!!!''!!'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!''!!''.

Just some off the beaten track college hoops info that no one here probably cares about but...

Valparaiso hasn't been fully healthy all year but should be returning Tevonn Walker today. Valpo is a trendy/dangerous team to watch in March this year if they can get through Oakland (in Detroit) in the Horizon conference tourney. The loss to Ball State without Walker could kill their At-Large hopes.

Oregon State will play back to back tonight against Tulsa and is expected to return Daniel Gomis (giving OSU a full lineup for the first time this year). Oregon State led Kansas by by 9 or 11 at the half in Kansas City. It will be interesting to see if Tinkle can get this team in the tournament behind the leadership of Payton.

Northwestern is 9-1 with their only loss to UNC. Basically a cupcake schedule but NW is looking to make the NCAA Tournament for the first time in school history. Will the season ending injury to Vic Law cost Northwestern and senior Tre Demps the opportunity to dance? DePaul looking to put a fork in those hopes today.

Naz Long lost for the season. Iowa State loses a great leader on and off the court.

Tons of great games today with Texas @ Stanford ending a great slate of college hoops.

Enjoy in good health!

NW NEVER made the NCAA's? Hard to believe.

Georgetown is losing to UNC-Asheville with under 7 to go in the 2nd. Oh brother...

there is nothing dodgier than college refereeing . Just watched a unc player stand in the restricted area and take a 'charge'.

Don't understand why Georgetown is so bad, they brought back basically their whole team and added guys like Govan and Derrickson. I can understand losing to Duke and MD but Radford, Monmouth, and UNC Asheville at home?

UCF losing AT Detroit is really awful.

JT3 is like a diet Rick Barnes at this point. Recruits on brand, never gets much done in March considering the talent.

Georgetown has done less than Gonzaga in the tournament since the 90s

Ohio state playing well? really taking it to kentucky
I don't get your question? Yes, they are playing well. As for G'Town, JT3 is mediocre at best, they have been a disaster in NCAA's.

They could playing well or kentucky could just be going through the motions. IDK i haven't seen kentucky play before. I'm just shocked at how well they came out compared to how they came out in storrs
