Cincy wins at VCU. They host Iowa State next week.

Meh, VCU isn't very good this year.

Wins against: Prairie View, Radford, American, ODU, Middle Tennessee State
Losses to: Duke, Wisconsin, Florida State, Georgia Tech and now Cincinnati

Maybe no horrid losses but not a single decent win either. And G-Tech and Wisconsin have been nothing above decent this year.

VCU isn't that good, but all of their losses to this point were road/neutral site losses. They're just below 50 on kenpom. For Cincinnati, it's a good win.

Speaking of Cincinnati, they host Iowa State this week. Huge game for Cincinnati and the conference. If they can enter conference play with wins @ VCU, George Washington (neutral), and Iowa State, they will soar up the polls once they start playing AAC squads.

True, ISU will be a challenge. Especially considering ISU should be fired up after taking the loss today.

Speaking of Northern Iowa how the heck do you do what they have done so far this year. 7-3 record.

Wins against two top 10ish teams in UNC and ISU. Losses to Colorado State, Richmond and New Mexico.

Norlander picked Tulsa to finish above UConn in the AAC lololololol they only just totally imploded in the second half against Oregon State

mitchell looks like the best two way player on ville wow. what a beast

west va vs k state at 12 and texas vs texas tech at 2 i believe

SMU is likely to be favored by at least 5 points in all of their games until they play at the XL Center in mid-February. There's a good chance they don't win all those games, but it's not impossible that they come in undefeated.

That'll be something if it happens.

Houston is beating Temple by 20+ in the first half.

Houston is going to deal losses to Cincy, UConn or SMU. It's unfortunate the top teams will be dinged for that because although they have talent on the team, they have 2 very bad losses. Only a win against LSU. In other words, they ain't going anywhere but they can really kill some of the better teams.

unc vs ga tech is interesting, unc seems to be a horrible defensive team i have no clue how they are ranked top ten in the country. I mean GA tech looks really solid too so maybe i should credit them

GA Tech has four seniors ( mitchell the umd transfer, jacobs the 270 center, star wing marcus georges hunt, and pg Adam Smith) who score in double figures every game, seems like a team that will be decent in the ACC

Looks like conference play is going to be fun this year.

Damn it, Texas! Shakas system of jacking threes isn't going to work well in this conference. They shot 16 threes in the first half

Watching TTech vs Texas on ESPNU Texas down 9 trading baskets at under 8 TO. Announcers were of course quick to point out if Ridley played vs UConn the outcome would've been different. We weren't missing anyone significant either or were we?!

Shaka had 3 timeouts almost the whole second half and only used one

Miami somehow has 11 points in 16 minutes against Syracuse.

Meanwhile, as @huskiesnyc alludes to, I think that Michigan win is going to end up looking very good. They seem to be playing very good basketball.

Let's just hope Levert's injury isn't as serious as some of the media guys are speculating.
