So if the puck was nowhere near the goal how was this activated. Human error I guess.
Refs were saying that basically to say "don't hit the goal lights again because this apparently is too difficult for you to manage" (nicely paraphrased)I was watching on my phone and I heard the referee yelling into the box with the timekeepers, statisticians telling them he didn’t want the lights to be activated at all. That’s why I thought it was intentional.
Full game replay > 1:55 left in OT (25:17mark) - someone else can clip it.Without video nothing will get done.
Here it is…I grabbed it off the broadcast and posted it to X, then to the BY. Best I could do.

Yhea the only way it will get investigated is if Benedict UConn's ad forces a investigation. But I have no faith in him he really doesn't care about the hockey team. The reason why I know that his before the season started he was on the rob dibble show. He was talking about the start of the fall and winter sports not one metion of the hockey team after they had a great year!HE will simply sweep this under the rug. It’s what they do.
I don't know what's going to happen, but that power outage was perfectly timed to squelch a UConn 2 on 1. Benedict does care about hockey though. Toscano is COB of the Trustees and we're paying Cavanaugh top dollar for a public university HE coach. It's true
