I cannot believe we still haven’t heard anything from Randy and were left to get updates on his own announcement from the twitter account of Pratt & Whitney Stadium. It’s actually hilariously bad how poorly managed this team’s social media presence is.

Could they be scrambling at this moment to make up a football announcement? "1/2 off 2020 popped popcorn" wont be enough here.
 
well, since it's an ag based school, im certainly hoping for sumthin like 'it will rain. mebbe not today, or tomorrow, but definitely someday soon.' if that's it, then i'll be excited for sure.

Relax. The tweet about soccer wasn't a UCONN tweet. Are you also pissed at Randy that the Mets announced a trade on twitter today? (just as relevant)

To be fair, the Mets announced the trade last night at 1130. And there wasn't any coincidentally timed tweets from CitiField about the trade.

Yeah don't know why people are so upset about the USWNT. Edsall never said the exciting news had to do with the Rent. People saw the tweet from the Rent account and assumed it was related to Edsall's tweet.

Further confirmation, doth protest prematurely. ?

At 12:00 pm, @PWStadium Pratt & Whitney Stadium directly communicated "Stay tuned for another announcement from @Randy Edsall and #UConnFootball". Then just specifically communicated "We have two fun announcements today! Stay tuned for the UConn Football announcement at 2 pm."

Perhaps PAWSARF and UConn athletics would be best to avoid competing for sports publicity on the same day, yet it appears HCRE and UConn football will announce something at 2 pm. In 20 minutes, 20 minutes.
