We've been pretty lucky considering most of our players have been sticking around except those we lose to the NBA. Its gotta be pretty painful for the teams where the whole roster flips.
Its a good time to win back-to-back. Hurley has proven he can do it with a mix of transfers, big time recruits and 4 stars. Duke, Kansas & Kentucky (Cal) are all falling apart recruiting wise at the right time. Duke in terms of retaining big recruits, Kansas in terms of not just loading up on...
More like its simple not to do it if you plan ahead. DON"T DRIVE TO THE BAR!!!!
Coming from someone who made poor decisions as a kid before ride shares were available. After 2 DUI's, I haven't drank and driven in 20 years.
Can you imagine turning this kid into an NBA'er after Calipari didn't? He did get injured and had a stretch (even though I'm not supposed to reference small game samples) where he took the backseat to Dillingham and Shephard. When I watched, he seemed to attack the rim fairly well.
Ballo got a crystal ball for IU. Same with Carlyle and Myles Rice. That'd be a nice haul for them if it materializes. Albeit, last year's haul didn't amount to much.
I don't tell you the way you look at things is silly. It works for me.
When you bet every team in div 1 you look at who they beat, where they beat them, when they beat them, against who they were hot and against who they shat the bed. Its an "overall picture" as you say. Its engrained in me.
No point, just following up on Husky429 edifying me that the season is more than 4 games.
Alright! I'll stop posting stats! I'm just bored because my betting season is over. I'll find something else to do.
4-19 in their complete non-dominance of in-state rivals Penn, St. Joe's and Drexel which doomed their season. That Penn one really left a mark. The other two, not so bad.
He did have a few big games though, 6-8 against Lemoyne, 5-7 against Depaul, 5-8 against Seton Hall. Lemoyne was actually better than it sounds. Depaul was not.
Was surprised Kerwin Walton never amounted to much more after a nice freshman year at UNC. Clearly his shooting efficiency wasn't his demise like it was for Omar.
Not necessarily. Spencer made Rutgers a decent team when they looked like they would be awful. Spencer has winning in his blood. I'm sure Pikiell conveyed that to Danny. Villanova underachieved.
In conference transfers are weird. There seem to be a lot better options out there than a guy who scores 6.2 ppg on a disappointing team. But Hurley has proven he knows best.
I suspect us being this high is by default. Reading through there are a lot of teams losing key players, or at least they're still questionable. There are also a lot of critical veteran players graduating or leaving for the draft since its such a weak draft. This won't form up until the...
The real question is, what was NW's strategy? I'm sure the coaches have been replaying those tapes. Also helps that we played NW. Nice confidence boost that since we can beat them, we can beat Purdue.
