Midsommar (Amazon) - Slow burn cult psychological thriller. Like an old classic yet different. Not quite as good and a tad long but worth a free watch if you're into the genre.
I think the point you and Scoe are missing that others are saying is that we're rebuilding. It may be taking a little longer, but losses like this are encouraging towards getting to that rebuild, even though baby steps. We are not what we once were. When we get back their again, then...
Agreed. The nunnery scene was the pinnacle. I liked the two main characters too.
The first two episodes combined make for a decent dracula movie, then it goes off the rails.
The upperclassmen were Jekyll today. The Tale of Two Teams. I almost want to start an Upperclassmen Appreciation Thread, but I can't bring myself to do it.
All I'm saying is that it seems to be the trend in the AAC this year. Tulane won at home vs Cincy, yet lost away to us of which we lost away to Cincy. Thats all. We played much more aggressive at home.
The Art of Self-Defense (Hulu) - Slow placed and dry, but the sensei is a fantastic character.
Rotten Tomatoes: 84% critics; 63% audience makes sense. Not for everyone.
Why do you hate assists? Watch the replay and take a shot for every should've been assist. Then don't post for two days until you sober up. He basically did what everybody wanted him to on the offensive end. Only 3 shots, only 3 to's. He was way far from horrible, perhaps you were watching...
The problem with JA's teams is there was no inside presence. This team is a little better off inside (Akok), but there's no JA scoring now. AG shots aren't falling and drives get swatted. CV isn't big time enough, inconsistent and makes head scratching decisions. Bouk can hopefully be that...
Even in the chat, there were constant "bench him" chants. I was like, did you not just see that drive and dish? He did some things better than ever today. Threw a few seeds to the post players as well. I think most yarders just want to get on to the future. And maybe after today's...
I don't go that far back, but can you imagine these teams in the OBE against bruising teams like Pitt and ND? Even BC's Curley would push them off the court.
I feel weird being the only AG cheerleader, but I thought he had his best passing game ever. Without blown layups he could have easily had double digit assists. Plus only taking 3 shots is what the yard wanted him to do. But I could be taking crazy pills. He must've got out of that game...
Whuuuuuuuuttt? Sweet fancy moses. I said he doesn't move off the ball, he camps out. Maybe thats what DH wants him to do, but good teams like Cincy don't allow that. So maybe he should move off the ball to some degree like Rip, but perhaps DH doesn't have him do that because he's too slow...
