Hurley after Cincinnati: “Leash is going to be a lot shorter”

Maybe he should just run random circles instead of Hurley's plays, haha. That way I bet he'd get open for at least one 3 and get more than just one rebound.

Hurley after Cincinnati: “Leash is going to be a lot shorter”

Nobody is comparing Rip to Polley, its stupid to even think as much. Stop the nonsense. Yarders just take everything so literal. Its like you have to be a lawyer to write anything on here. Freaking annoying that about 8 people said Polley is no Rip. Yeah, no snow. What was insinuated is...

Hurley after Cincinnati: “Leash is going to be a lot shorter”

There is a talent there, not doubt about that, the guy can make shots. Some guys are even awesome against chairs. I'm not smart enough a basketball mind to know how to get him open and utilize his catch and shoot ability. He is an enigma to me. Obviously Rip and that team was a whole other...

    Confidence in Danny Going Forward

Eh, we beat Michigan, Cuse and Oregon early in the last 3 seasons consecutively with Ollie.

And yet, And yet, somehow he seems to have more clarity than some that watched, go figure.

    Confidence in Danny Going Forward

    7. It seems I'm on a different curve than most. I was reticent all last year and said I needed to wait to pass judgement. Earlier this year I passed judgement that he was the guy. I'm not letting tonight's game change that, but we've taken a step back.

Hurley after Cincinnati: “Leash is going to be a lot shorter”

I've thought that the last 2 years. And I've watched him. He's always camping out on the 3 line. It's likely that is what Danny is telling him to do. Part of the reason he never gets offensive rebounds. Very stagnant. But our offense for years has been a non-motion offense, and it seems...

    Change Now

Yes, but Akok's hands must of froze in the cold tonight because everything bounced off them.

Hurley after Cincinnati: “Leash is going to be a lot shorter”

Agreed, everyone was pretty bad tonight. A few players played better in the 2nd half, but the first half was some terrible basketball all around, except maybe ok by CV.

    I Just Don’t Understand

Cincinatti recycles the same player over and over. They're like bobafett clones.

Hurley after Cincinnati: “Leash is going to be a lot shorter”

I thought he was the only one that could break the press tonight. The first half Gaffney seemed like he was in a tornado, although he played much more settled in the 2nd. AG just seems to be making a lot of bad decisions lately. I don't know if having more interior targets would help or a...

Hurley after Cincinnati: “Leash is going to be a lot shorter”

Nor does he move to get set up. He waits and hopes he gets forgotten. some teams forget him, its easy, but some teams don't. Cincy didn't.

Hurley after Cincinnati: “Leash is going to be a lot shorter”

How much movement does he make to get open to be a catch and shoot sharp shooter? See Rip and Rashad. I ain't completely dogging the kid and didn't say he was the main reason for the loss, but not helping do things to win tonight is not argument for not losing. There's only 5 guys out there...

Hurley after Cincinnati: “Leash is going to be a lot shorter”

Dude, role players get rebounds. He tried to drive and pull up tonight and it was atrocious. He's a catch and shoot sharpshooter. Thats it. When he pumps and dribbles and shoots, it doesn't work either. Repeat after me, 'Catch and shoot', now you try.

Hurley after Cincinnati: “Leash is going to be a lot shorter”

He might not be THE problem. But having us start 4 against 5 isn't doing us any favors. Wrong game to rush and defend him.

Hurley after Cincinnati: “Leash is going to be a lot shorter”

The funny thing is, he's been using his athleticism for lockdown D. Its just not working on his drives, he hasn't mastered a pull up or floater, his 3's haven't been falling and his decision making has been questionable.

Great movie. Hachi is excellent too, even more of a tear jerker. Also a true story.

Its way too early for me to get attached to Akok or Bouk, I hardly even know them, so I'm going AG. Don't tell Waquoit.

    Christmas Eve, Eve, Eve ThoughtZ™

I don't want to debate. That's why I haven't responded to you. The kid hasn't had the chance to do that since he was a 5 star in HS. Let him have one 2 min moment without tearing his head off. Bazz, Walker even Boat took all the shots in 2 min runs before. Its not the end of the world. He...

    Some Dookie V love?

Kind of agree, but I bet he didn't want to put both Kemba and Bazz, then give Bazz's team love too. The thing about Burke is he was like a fringe top 100 recruit. He really out-punted his coverage.
