Pudge, I know that since you have been to the facility in 2015 numerous upgrades have been made to the facility since then with the coaching changes. Each coach has had a list of improvements each time they've been hired. Is it on par with UConn's new facility, most definitely not but it...
Gonna miss my once every two year trip up to see Temple play at the Rent. Maybe the series continues in the future, idk. The picture has become a little clearer now and since Temple has been in this position, I figured i'd give my perspective. None of this is earth shattering or probably a...
If I recall, Temple has exclusive rights to the Linc for Saturdays in the fall (if not for any collegiate football games). Temple would not consider allowing Nova to use the Linc. I don't think the Eagles would consider it either...
The current AAC contract was negotiated in such a week position compared to where the conference is now. At the time, their was so much instability with the AAC. There was a rumor back when the original contract was signed that ESPN was willing to give $6-8M per team if a GOR was signed. You...
While it appears that way on the outside, I'm not sure that is true. Owlscoop hinted at a position change very early in his recruitment, which means someone close to the program mentioned that. No matter what, Temple is going to be inexperienced at QB next year at the D-1 level.
I'm not sure why Temple was recruiting Pindell but my hunch is they were going to move him to another position. Temple has 4 scholarship QBs already on the roster including mid-year enrollee 3 star Todd Centreio.
I think a combination of UConn being able to offer playing time and Temple only...
That is not how I remember it. So maybe he was a potential grey shirt, which was something Temple did in the MAC because the MAC takes partial qualifiers. None of this applies to Temple now as the Big East and now AAC do not accept partial qualifies. The last recruiting class Temple could do...
I just wanted to add that Temple did have the ability to take some grey shirts while in the MAC but that is gone with the move to the AAC. I also think one of the biggest things that Temple has been successful at is talent evaluation. They take guys who fit their system regardless of rankings...
FYI,
Matt Rhule renegotiated his contract last year and and got a 4 year extension. Terms were not released but he is making well north of $2M. Might even be closer to $3M a year.
