Can the UConn-Duke gsme be accessed in Canada?

The game is on TSN4. Should be no trouble to watch it on TV - most cable packages should have it. You probably will get to see some Kia Nurse as a bonus!

    Week 9 - Jan 1 to 7

Maybe not top 25, but lots of love for Vanderbilt and Princeton on this board. Fairfield's only loss is to Vanderbilt, on the road, by 3. Both Fairfield (78-54) and Princeton won against Rutgers (66-55). Exciting to see Fairfield's continued success after Lou, with a new coach, and in a league...

    Geno's Biggest Coaching Mistake?

When I used to play, sometimes I would watch the starters struggle. Then, I would get subbed in and think "okay, finally, now I can turn this thing around". And then before I could blink, I'd done 3 turnovers and it turns out the best players on the team (the starters), were struggling because...

As a New Zealander - I gotta say... love what I'm seeing from Charlisse Leger-Walker! And you all were asking before about other NCAA New Zealand standouts. There was Micheala Cocks for the Ducks (Micaela Cocks - Wikipedia) and Penina Davidson for UC Berkeley (Penina Davidson - Wikipedia). But...

    The Alleged Flaws of Bueckers

The highlight videos of Paige are so impressive: she looks like the second coming of DT and it's so so fun to watch.... but also, I can't help thinking that the highlight videos of Moriah Jefferson in HS were probably similar, but MoJeff didn't get the same coverage of it, and also played for a...

DT was told to use a regular basketball.

I find it curious how easy it is to switch between a mens and a womens ball. I find shooting and dribbling the womens ball easier, but I also like practicing with a mens ball, I think it helps me shoot the womens ball better. I love that DT clip, though, so so good.

Phee & Stef Make USA 3X3 Roster

Hmm... I dunno. Pheesa seems perfect for 3 x 3. I'm not sure about Stef at all. It seems like successful 3 x 3 teams aren't built like traditional 5 x 5 teams. Seems like players need to be very strong on both defense and offense, very fit, and can't be too small or too slow. Maya would be...

    Generational Players-when can you tell?

So... why is Sue Bird seemingly, unanimously, not in this conversation? I guess I wouldn't call her a generational player either, but I question whether I conclude that due to an unfair bias. I think Sue Bird is the best PG of all-time, possibly including both men and women. I also don't think...

    Some thoughts on "showing up".

Sometimes I play against weak defenders: I can get open easily; and I have all the time in the world to make a shot, over a small player who is never in a million years going to block my shot. Sometimes I shoot 10-12. Sometimes the defense is taller, faster, more physical: getting open is hard...

Thoughts on Duck Dynasty After Watching Oregon-Syracuse Replay

And that game is really the only time I've watched the Ducks, but "penetration is not part of Sabrina's game?" There was quite a bit of Sabrina driving in that game, I thought. And the USA did bring the pressure too, and while there were some tense moments, the Ducks got through it.

    Feeding on the bottom feeders

Well, I see it a bit differently. Some teams are stuck in weak conferences and only have a chance at the NCAA tournament if they get the automatic bid OR knock off a big fish in out of conference games. Think of Quinnipiac during the Marist years. Give the little guys a chance - put 'em on the...

    Team USA @ Oregon - 11/09/19

Wow. That sucks. Sabrina, on the other hand, had a few more minutes to use to shine. Sabrina played great today. Gutsy, and it was fun. But is she better than Plum, C. Gray or Diggins-Smith? I hear Sue Bird saying 'Staley pulled me aside and said, I don't care who these players are you need to...

    Team USA @ Oregon - 11/09/19

I think they just need to show confidence in one of the younger guards (Plum, Diggins-Smith, C. Gray, maybe Sabrina). I guess right now, they get a chance to show what they can do before anyone gets elevated above the others. Put Sabrina on team USA and she's in an entirely different role, and...

Well, that was super fun! The USA national team hadn't been looking peak, even before this, they'd been letting college teams get leads up on them, Stanford should be really proud of what they were able to do, and that gave me hope that Oregon could make this exciting.
