I think we're getting abu, Just a hunch . I think napiers been in his ear. Forget pascal this guys the real deal.

Like I said; whatever floats your boat. If making fun of a guy for a skin condition makes you feel better about losing recruiting battles to him...good for you

how much do you think anyone gives a s-h-i-t about losing a recruiting battle or two to PC?

ill take OK4, you can have gomes

while i agree, PC is also a cant miss prospect

I continue to be surprised Abu is not ranked higher. He reminds me some of Anyhony Bennett when we were recruiting him. Strong, explosive, dunks everything close to the hoop, and has a good-looking jumper.

I agree, not sure what the recruiting services are missing with this kid. Rank him wherever you want I guess but whoever lands this kid is getting an absolute stud, if he is not #1 on UConn's PC's, SJU's, or NCST's board I'm not sure who would be.

.-.
Cooley didn't recruit Gomes.

What is up with some of the asshat PC trolls who come over here? I know they probably get about 10 posts a week on their board, but if they spent more time over there whining and crying, maybe they could actually get it up to 20 per week.

Anyway, I seriously don't care who we lose out on a recruit too. There are always going to be local factors, or their HC with close ties to AAU coaches, or just all the stars aligning for some of those 2nd tier schools. We are going to lose out on recruits to craptastic programs most feel we shouldn't ever lose to.

It continues to amaze me that anyone on the planet would worry about what people from PC think or feel or post. UCONN is a national brand. Mention PC and people think you are complaining about "political correctness".

And yet at the mere mention of Cooley; your board goes nuts. PC fans didn't bring him up; you did

You continue to display how pathetic you are even in the offseason. Why are you here we are not even in the same conference anymore and it's summer. Get a life.

Oh and what is Ed's record against UConn?

I'll never understand the PC obsession on this board by a few posters, but make no mistake about it, it's only a few posters. Your board, meanwhile, has a raging BFieldHusky for UConn.

By the way, I appreciate you coming over here and pretending to want to have discussions ... and then absolutely trashing UConn every chance you get on the PC board. You're the definition of a troll.

So true...

He comes across like a 12 year old trolling from his mom's basement, the scary thing is I'm guessing he's in his mid 30's and trolling from his mom's basement.

I like having posters from other schools pop up. It gives the board a nice dynamism and always reminds me, anyway, that there are schools out there dying to catch us.

Anyway, Cooley had a good get today, signing small forward Jalen Lindsey out of Tennessee (#32 in ESPN's rankings). Despite their glaring lack of success on the court, Cooley can definitely recruit. I wouldn't be shocked if we lost one of Chukwu, Abu or Joseph to PC, and that would definitely, 100% bother me.

If they continue to lose are they really recruiting well? Seems like if the players he's getting are really that good they would win. Only 2 options, the players he gets are overrated or he sucks as a coach. Which is it PC fans?

To be fair, he's only had the job for two years. In year one he inherited a train-wreck of a program from Keno Davis. In year two, he dealt with an avalanche of injuries early in the season and managed to salvage things late with quality wins over Notre Dame, Cincy, and Nova (twice). It's reasonable to speculate on whether Providence would have been dancing had they not been ravaged with injuries early on the season. Additionally, as far as I can tell, Kris Dunn was the only top 100 recruit on the roster last season. This season he adds Derosciers (Wake transfer) and Brandon Austin (borderline top 50) to a solid veteran core. In other words, the talent is slowly matriculating into the fold and progress had been made under his watch. I'd say he has at least two more years to make the tournament before he starts to feel the heat (and it would be a failure in my opinion if they didn't make it this year).

This is why he will succeed: From Jalen Lindsey, who chose PC over offers from FLA, Louisville, Ohio State, Tennessee, and Vanderbilt; "I chose them because they were recruiting me the hardest out of everybody," he told Rivals.com. "Coach Cooley is the most sincere, hardworking, dedicated family type of coach I have ever met and that's who I want to play for."

[Makes jerk-off motion while rolling eyes.]

Typical Friar fan; basically, "wait till next year". Call us when you actually accomplish something

So true...

Show me a post from the PC board where I have "trashed UCONN"

You guys live in a fantasy world.

Btw, this PC fan ain't talking about next year. PC dances this year. Three years ago EC took over a decimated program on life support. Now it's a third straight strong recruiting class anchored by a top 50 player.

Roll your eyes all you want. He's getting it done in friar town

i'm i the only one who thinks his offers aren't that great? sure UL and florida but the last three aren't that great. tend to agree with a poster above, i think his recruits are overrated

Getting what done? PC is the epitome of mediocre. Even with some talent on its roster last year, a depleted UConn squad beat them both times. Ollie outcoached Cooley badly. PC basketball is basically irrelevant. UConn wins national championships. PC aspires to make the tournament. You are pathetic and so is your team.
