Watched most of the first half very entertaining basketball game. Both teams have solid starting 5s with a couple nice bench players too. If they were both bigger on the interior they could contend with a lot of teams, just a little too small.

Hope the Bulldogs get in the dance fun to watch, actually both teams play the way you’re supposed to.

Kellogg just said both will be a tough matchup next week. Heading to Vegas to watch and maybe place a wager ;)...I’ll have to give it a look.

Kellogg thinks the loser gets in too? Highly doubtful but I’d like to see it.

I agree with him commenting that rotating the Ivy league tourney on the Ivy campus' in the future
is wrong....stick with "the cathderal" the Palestra.

Excellent game.

Every time someone gets a gap, the other team erases it and builds their own.

I agree, the Palestra is ideal from a hoop standpoint, but that's more of a Big 5 history … except that it's the furthest point from over half the Ivy. Harvard, Yale, Brown, Dartmouth are long distance to get there. Cornell is a longish trip. Princeton, Penn, Columbia, not so much. Ideally I think they'd like something in NYC, but that would be very crowded on tourney weekend.

Just watched a Yale fast break. Dribbler pulled up in the lane, open shot, no blocked shot or forced layup, no charge.

Wish I saw some of that this year.

Sounds dangerously close to what some here have written about the Women...but I completely agree, and have just enjoyed Yale's run since starting this post.

go bulldogs! hey, someone here said its ok to have 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th other 'favorite' teams. I hope i'm not wrong cuz, you know, nobody expects the spanish inquisition!
'meester spliffy, vere are your UConn papers? schveinhunt!'

Love the land Seth Towns as a grad transfer (most sought after in the country) after next year. That would be HUGE. That could be the missing link to a big time run the year after next. In Hurley we all trust! :)

And then Yale blew Harvard out of the building.

Enjoyable game to watch & a likeable experienced team to root for an upset of puke, UNCheat, etc. 44 of 46 FTs in Ivy tourney!

Knew the game was at Yale, but strangely no apparent identification of Payne Whitney Gym visible during the game telecast.

I feel sorry for the team that has to play Yale, they're legit and have a great coach. Everyone talks up Amaker for a next level job, Jones is the better coach.

3 seed Houston vs 13 seed Yale. Ugh!

Congrats to Yale. They beat Baylor in a 5-12 matchup three years ago. Maybe they pull off another upset.

97-85. and that's why they're called 'the crimson,' cuz they always bleed when playing the Pierson Posse. hey, cambridge clowns! u got served. again.

We should be glad the Ivies would want to play their tournament in New Haven.

Yale is a very solid team but will have to get an ideal match-up next week
Still it will be fun to have a Connecticut based team in the dance

Cool, now I have an underdog team to pull for! Go Yale! Once the field comes out will find maybe another few to pull for, maybe pick a realistic underdog to go deep, maybe a favorable higher seed that isn't annoying.

There's something to be said for having smart kids on a team. Okafor, right? Harvard has a really good player coming from Northfield Mt. Hermon next year. Rated Top 100 by ESPN.

Is that Chief’s music I hear...?

im only here because there’s no Bulldog version of the boneyard:)

I took my family to the regular season game in New Haven and Harvard erased a big halftime deficit to win in the last seconds. It was a GREAT game. Cost me $6 bucks though.

“Harvard’s team may fight to the end but Yale! Will! Win!”

Towns would have made Harvard a very good team. Gotta wonder about his knee, though. He hurt it a year ago and hasn’t played since.
