Martinez saves the day.
Agreed. Hoping Croatia pounds them.Argentina are a bunch of scumbags
While this will never happen (the powers that be in US soccer would kill the idea before it got off the ground) something like this is exactly what we need to lift our level of play to where winning a couple games in knockout rounds won't be a pipe dream.Croatia is clinical in their passing, trapping and technicals. US should send our u15s there and take them back when they're 20
More majik
That one [86] should come with a *In World Cup play Argentina's allowed one hand ball every four decades. It's a little known codicil in the rule book.
That one just before penalties was disgraceful. A 84 year old lady, with a cane, would just say “excuse me” when taking a bump like that. He acted like he took a 12 gauge to the gut.Even Messi went full dive mode today. And the dude pounding the ball into the Dutch bench. I've been rooting for Messi to win his WC but I'm all in on Croatia taking the win next week
He loves soccer evidentlyWhy is Chad Johnson on the nighttime wrap up shows?
I continued to watch but thought the match was over after Neymar scored. Croatia does not give up. What a nice goal by NeymarWow. I literally stopped watching after Brazil scored with under 1M left. Croatia actually scored in that time period? I'm astonished. They didn't have a shot on goal before that.
The cards need to be more consistent and fair. Didn't a player from Morocco receive a yellow for taking off his shirt?Lots of flopping today by Arg and Brazil
And dude should have gotten 2 yellows for the foul + firing a ball into the Dutch bench
So, with all the talk about how the US doesn’t have the talent and depth to compete with the big boys…is Morocco that much better than us? I’m not familiar with their team outside of Ziyech, who’s played even less than Pulisic at Chelsea.
They’ve been lucky. Portugal was denied a penalty at the end of 1H that was much clearer than the one Argentina got yesterday. Fortunately with the red card, France will destroy them. So, with all the talk about how the US doesn’t have the talent and depth to compete with the big boys…is Morocco that much better than us? It takes more than than luck to defeat Belgium, Spain, Portugal and draw Croatia in 2 weeks. Portugal shouldn’t have to rely on a PK just to tie the game. They’ve been lucky. The red card was a substitute who has barely played in the WC. They may get destroyed, but his absence won’t be why. They‘ve still only given up one own goal in five games - and have shutouts over Belgium, Croatia, Spain and Portugal. If France destroys them, it’s more a credit to France than a knock on Morocco. They’ve been lucky. YikesMorocco's magic carpet ride continues
