The whole offensive strategy for Germany was to pressure and force mistakes. Spain made about 7-8 like that, and most were missed chances or saves. Once subs came on they turned it up and scored.I really enjoy watching Spain. That errant pass in the 83rd minute to allow Deutschland the equalizer was a huge mistake.

The "flag thing" of courseUS Soccer is an embarrassment
I mean the Federation is not great but this would have happened even without the Flag thing.
Total s’show.
I'm watching it now. Ronaldo with the "Hair of God Goal!" Lame-0At least the Portugal and Brazil matches were fun to watch. I was amused by Ronaldo seemingly taking credit for Portugal's first goal which he appeared to miss. I believe Fernandes scored the goal.
I like Portugal but he’s insufferable. Fernandes is a better player at this point in time.I'm watching it now. Ronaldo with the "Hair of God Goal!" Lame-0
Uruguay has some great chances hitting the post and just couldn't get it by the keeper. Ronaldo is still very quick with his cross-overs but the defenders do do a great job of staying home. Great shoulder pass though.I like Portugal but he’s insufferable. Fernandes is a better player at this point in time.
Ray knows soccer! NotRay Ratto at The Defector just wrote: "The U.S. convinced its army of supporters that the England match was everything". That is so true with Pulisic spouting nonsense like "I hope we made people proud with a draw" I gotta wonder if they are ready to win.
It is what it is. Mexico is really old. Costa Rica isn't close to their form several years ago. Canada has some talent, but no depth, won group simply because the others were down. USA remains an enigma, talent, but not at every position, and coaching leaves a lot to be desired.
Maybe it's because I'm a Manchester United follower, so I see him. He's out now, because he simply doesn't have the work rate to play a high pressure system, which is what Ten Hag wants. I can't blame him, he's old, it's not what he wants to do. Portugal has a really good, young team. It's deceptive because Ronaldo is old, but they aren't an old squad. Bruno is tremendous, such a heady, savvy player. Makes everyone else better. I wouldn't mind seeing them finally win a WC.Uruguay has some great chances hitting the post and just couldn't get it by the keeper. Go USA!
Hmmm, Messi and Ronaldo to the MLS?Maybe it's because I'm a Manchester United follower, so I see him. Uruguay is always pretty entertaining to watch. The forgotten South American side in the shadow of Brazil and Argentina.
Hmmm, Messi and Ronaldo to the MLS?
It's on the speculative list. It would be interesting because the Revolution would make the most sense. Huge need at striker and a large Portuguese population in the area. MLS really? Doubt he has the Hollywood aspirations Beckham had, and he is already the most followed account on Instagram globally. I have no idea. I don't think money is the issue compared to quality of life and winning. Napoli or Lisbon maybe. The Saudi's offered him huge money, but why would he suffer there?Hmmm, Messi and Ronaldo to the MLS?
