OT: World Cup 2018

Brazil still very much in this. They just need one this jalf

Wow, Brazil getting caught with their pants down. If they can find the back of the net this will be really exciting.

.-.
Belgium are savages.

They're like vipers, they recoil and then strike fast and precise. As we saw against Japan as well.

Any other team down 2-0 I would think this is done, but Brazil has been peppering the box.

As I said above, Brazil still very much in it. They can score from anywhere. Courtois is really tough tho.

Given Belgium's (and Brazil's) defensive inconsistencies, Brazil may well get their 1 or 2 or more this coming half. Concurrently, Belgium may reciprocate. Ideally, the 2nd half includes multiple goals versus the potential for Roberto Martinez foolishly going into a stall and far too early.

Crazy thing is Brazil really only gave up two or three opportunities (plus the own goal}. And they're down 2-0.

No doubt, but oh Brazil's potential ... and that's not even accounting for Brazil pulling forward as the clock ticks and Belgium potentially counterattacks.

Brazil. Damn.

What really stinks is France Brazil would have been the nuts

Belgium/France will be a fantastic matchup.

I was hoping for Brazil France. Would have been all time. France should handle Belgium.

The own goal really changed the tenor of this one. Not having casemiro was high for Brazil.

I watched the match on BBC (so much better than fox and too many crowd shots and inane blah blah blah) and agree with BBC commentators about neymar. Cut the nonsense with the dives and rolling around. Luckily the refs in the Belgium match did not buy his dramatics today and basically told him to knock it off. Sure, it was no yellow, technically they are allowed to give yellows for theatrics but it is a step in the right direction. VERY INTERESTING to see what happens to Brazil when refs don't bite on these over dramatic showings like today, kudos to a well reffed match. Play the game right, without the diving. A Swiss publication found that, not counting the Belgium match neymar spent an astonishing 14 total minutes on the ground in the first 4 matches. Now he can roll his way back to Brazil, adios, good riddance!!!
