Has anyone ventured into the Heardle world yet?
Just tried. I'm not going to be good at that at all. Too many songs I don't know and my hearing sucks.

@storrsroars has; one of my daughters hipped me to it the same day that he posted about it here, but I haven't checked it out yet because I'm afraid of another time suck.
I wouldn't bother and am sorry I even suggested it. I've tried it a half dozen times now, 0-6 as all of them were lousy hip-hop songs I've never heard. I think in all six, the initial notes were also only a sample played on one instrument with very few differing notes, so nothing even really distinguishable to an old fart like myself. If they did Public Enemy, I might get one, lol.

Funny. I just tried it after posting and concluded the same.

The day you mentioned it must have been a good one for us because my daughter told me I would get it in one second, but I never checked it that day.

They need a Gen X - Boomer edition like Trivial pursuit.

Have to stop using words that have little chance of being correct. Only PC words allowed.

My first word is my standard. My second is standard if I strikeout on the first. Couldn't believe my luck. Then I realized that I had listed six words that would work with only four guesses left. I've seen this movie before.
Below are my six words as I thought of them and and then my list prioritized based on my logical guess. (I use a worksheet for the visual and memory benefits)

POUND
MOUND
FOUND
BOUND
HOUND
WOUND

FOUND
MOUND
POUND
HOUND
BOUND
WOUND

I lucked out on this one!

ftr, there wasn't really a "1". That was a goof I played the day I did it on my phone and took a 5, then did it again on my laptop and posted the correct answer on line 1. But still, 44% in 3 or less ain't bad.
