Congrats on the 2. I've only got one myself in 26 games. I'm basically a bell curve.

Full disclosure - I was thinking leers but thought it was spelled lears and the game took it. Apparently lears is a valid scrabble word.

That was the first *atch word that came to mind. But I guessed it wouldn't be that. It was my next guess.

My first fail after my first two. had _ ATCH for the third and could use CATCH, HATCH, BATCH, MATCH or WATCH. Didn't choose WATCH for any of my three guesses.

My daughter had her first fail today, too. As I told her, it was kind of liberating for me when I had mine a few weeks ago because it made me unconcerned about my streak or my stats. I just look at it as a quick daily mental exercise. I remember the stats that matter, i.e., one fail, two twos; and I have a majority of threes. But I have missed a day or two, and I play on different devices and with different browsers, so none of my stats are accurate.
