I did the same when I was intending to type "sweat" and I thought about keeping it for a second, then I thought "Nah, probably not a double letter day." Wrong!

I too opted for shooting over snacking. I went with the K.

Felt good about this effort. Feels like I'm learning about word construction. Very few OI or OU words aren't followed by N* (point, bound...). So eliminating N in the 4th spot forced me away from them.
