My standard first guess turned out to be pretty lucky today

Abominable. Completely stuck so threw out porno to confirm the second O. I was surprised it accepted it as a word.

Thought I posted this four hours ago, but was still queued up.

So, following my earlier analogy, this was a decent tee shot on a par 4 with a 6 handicap, followed by a dart of a mid-iron, leaving a short birdie putt.

I really like the BOT analysis.
Husky was solid but unlucky, normally cuts the 2,309 choices to 367. Not today, 820 choices were left. Luck 18 out of 100

CRATE narrowed the 820 remaining choices to 11.
DOING another great choice left only 1 option but it took a while (5min) for me to get there.
4.6 guesses is today’s avg.

How does the schedule for releasing new Wordles work?

Saturday night I made the mistake of looking in this thread at 11:30 p.m. EST, thinking that there wouldn't be any entries for the next day's word, but there was. I spoiled the FORGO word for myself.

So I figured that I'd wait until around midnight of Sunday to try again. I go to Wordle, and it's the same FORGO puzzle that some had solved more than 24 hours previously. And it's telling me that I don't get the next word (which presumably will be the one you guys work on Monday morning) for another 23 hours and 53 minutes. Drat! It must be based around my cookies, somehow.

Figured there would be at least one 2 today. Not moi unfortunately.

This one is a par 3. Threw a dart to 8 feet, then lipped out the birdie putt.

You guys all had strong starts. I felt good about my save after a terrible one. I debated FRAME vs FLAME and chose badly.
The Bot says I had the unluckiest possible outcome for this starting word.

Stormy or rainy would have been more appropriate 1st choices based on the current weather

Long par 4, dogleg right. Tee shot rolled into a divot. Chunked second, leaving long approach to large two-level green. Long lag putt to 2 feet, careful to not roll past hole. Drained that for bogey.

Short par 4, 16 handicap. Drive in first cut. Approach just to left of green. Chip shot hits flag. Three footer for par.

Apparently I have trains on my mind - that's the 2nd day in a row that I've used it as a guess. Dumb luck to get it in 3 today - could've easily been 5-6 with less luck.

Par 5, reachable in two. Drove into deep rough, pitched back to fairway. Solid long iron to edge of green. Misread break. Three putt for bogey.
