What is this bot thing? Was looking bleak, and I admit that I didn't know spred was a word, and it was actually a mis-spelling of spread (which of course wouldn't have worked) but its better to be lucky than good sometimes.

Fascinating. It likes TROPE as an opener (95). It wanted me to use a second word (SLANT) that didn't use the E I uncovered, so that's a no. My 3rd guess narrowed the options to 1, but wasn't a solution word. I didn't know that not all words could be the word.Using the same device on which you play Wordle, go here after you've played and it will analyze your guesses:

You managed to find 2 words that are not possible solutions. I had “pesty” yesterday.I'd had an OK run recently, but I've been returning to my original form of making big mistakes and missing very obvious words. I present this modern art masterpiece for your collective amusement. Hopefully the rest of my day goes more smoothly, lol:

You got your 2. Now it's time to change your starting word
I did change it, from IRATE to ROAST, and it's working out a little better I do believe. You got your 2. Now it's time to change your starting word
I suggested a change as there probably aren't any more 2s left in that gun.I did change it, from IRATE to ROAST, and it's working out a little better I do believe.
The reason I changed it is because I decided to go with only two vowels and three consonants instead of the other way around.
Usually a two requires "skill" but today's two was the "luck" part of the game. I couldn't think of any other possibilities after my start word.
