When I’m shuffling letters around in these word games, I use
X as a place holder for unknown letters
Today shuffled piXel looked at it and thought, well that’s a word

Ah, so I'm not the only one who does the X-as-variable thing. Not that it elevates me to the level of an exemplary Wordle player, but just pointing that out.

I started it around 5am, couldn't figure out anything for third line. Our guests came downstairs, the day got full of activities, and when i finally had a chance to come back to the puzzle a few minutes ago, the answer came almost immediately.
