Hello to my old and new friends.

Looks like it’s been about seven months since I last posted here. I stopped because I was spending toooo much time trying to keep up with you folks. I have continued to do Wordle daily, but with a new rule for myself. My Wordle goal is to complete the puzzle within 15 minutes, no matter the results. If I get the word within the six attempt allotment, I win; if I don’t, I lose. And sometimes I do lose, but it’s the time involved that is my priority.

However, at least once every week or two, I find myself coming back here to compare my results with all of yours to see how I’m doing. So I have decided to start posting again. But, when you see my plethora of 5 and 6 attempts, please know that I’m not actually mentally challenged. (well mostly not anyway)

I still use my original start word every day. If any of you recall, I always used IRATE. However, I now use TAIRE (a flower) that just rearranges the letters of IRATE. (Some of you may remember that about a month or two ago, IRATE was the actual word of the day. After I entered TIARE, all the letters glowed. I solved that one in 5 seconds.) Also, I only have 3 or 4 second words that I almost always use which is controlled by how many vowels show up on 1st street. After that, it’s Kattie bar the door!

BTW, the reason I chose to limit my time on Wordle is that I also do a few interesting Sudokus, and these two activities constitute my brain drain activity after arising.

Here’s what I came up with today.
