Clark out for the year and now Howard out for a significant portion of the season. The big free agent signings leaving the Storm are snake bit this year.I didn't get a chance to watch. No comments on Storm over Sun in OT? Seattle is having to work for it just about every game, but they keep winning. Haven't seen them blowing opponents out like they did much of last season.
Jackie Young carrying the Aces. Love to see it.
Big, slow centers are not what works in the W these days. McCowan has been a bust, too.Damn, I'm pretty shocked she hasn't been able to find footing in the league. She's a big body with great hands and was excellent in college.
McCowan has averaged double figures every season in the league so far...not sure how that qualifies as a bust.Big, slow centers are not what works in the W these days. McCowan has been a bust, too.
Heideman and Mabrey both playing a lot better than most of the players drafted ahead of them.Yeah, McCowan for her career thus far is averaging 10.4ppg and 8.4rpg while only averaging 22mpg. She needs to be playing more, imo.
Jackie Young has gotten better every year she's been in the league; she may not end up #1 draft pick up worthy, but I wouldn't be surprised if she makes an All Star team in the next two years.
It was a very interesting draft and doing a "redraft" would be fascinating; Durr had a really good rookie year and has alas been unable to play the last two seasons, so hard to grade that pick. But I think almost everyone would now pick Collier #1.

Tiffany going by everybody. Best pure speed driver in the game imo. Does not hurt that she is shooting 58% from 3Happiness is seeing Tif go by Mabrey several times tonight.
Double Happiness is to see Mabrey foul out and have to put on a mask on so we dont have to see her yapping from the bench.
Cant wait to see Tif go by KLS all game, just for your reaction.Happiness is seeing Tif go by Mabrey several times tonight.

Sue Bird could be that child's grandma!
Bust is over the top. And her team keeps changing.McCowan has averaged double figures every season in the league so far...not sure how that qualifies as a bust.
The counting stats on a bad team don't impress me. Especially when she was supposed to be a defensive anchor for them and their defense has been really bad.McCowan has averaged double figures every season in the league so far...not sure how that qualifies as a bust.
I somewhat agree, she looked lost vs Charles a few games ago, she still looks a little raw, she needed to move her feet more, and add some range to her game, if she has to be guarded a few feet from the basket like BG and Liz, it’ll do wonders her and the team. The counting stats on a bad team don't impress me. However, upon review of the on/off stats, they are better with her on the court than not.
So I will amend "bust" to "mild disappointment".
However, I still don't think a paint-bound center like McCowan or K. Brown is what you want in today's league. And I don't expect McCowan to ever be a starter on a contender.
Mabrey is a gamer and she plays with the sorta “nasty” I find entertaining. Dallas will have a thought decision on who should start between her and Jefferson once Gray returns.
CT just going on a blitzkrieg in 3Q (18-3)Charles tearing it up again, 18 at the half on 7-13 shooting. Getting some unexpected help from Wiese, who is 4-4 behind the arc. Mystics up 3 at the half against he Sun.
