Magbegor seems to be thriving since they cut Dupree. Why, oh why, weren't they playing Ezi more since the beginning of the season?

She should have been playing, has unlimited potential. Seattle needs to get better, and she can be a bigger version of Howard.

Russell really needs to come off the bench, really stagnated the offense, and loses her man cosistently, on defense.

Disastrous Q3 for Seattle. Getting outscored 26-9. Something's not right with the team lately.

Ezi has shown she needs to play, she might make mistakes, but her potential to be great is all there. If Seattle has any chance to repeat, they have to get Ezi more minutes.

Storm recover and finish strong, win by 10.

21 for Stewie, 20 for Ezi (and 9 reb), 18 for Prince, 13 for Bird (but only 1 assist?). 2 points in 33 combined minutes for KLS and Talbot does not cut it. Give Karlie this battle of the sisters, she scored 6.

I did think Lou was more aggressive in getting shots in the paint and will get more consistent with time. Karlie had 2 3pt shots but I cant really see her surviving the landscape of the WNBA in the long run. Not athletic enough imo. Pretty cool though watching them as opponents.

As an RU fan, proud of Prince for turning back the clock for a night and doing her best Jewell Loyd impression (or more accurately, her best 2012 Prince impression). She's been a good vet guard for them to have on the team--apparently Stewart asked management to bring her on last year after they played overseas together.

I watched Saturday's Lynx-Mercury game last night. The Mercury are rapidly becoming my least-favorite team in the W. Taurasi got a T for jawing at the refs. Then Skylar got a T for jawing at the refs. Then Coach Brondello got a T for jawing at the refs. On the way out at halftime all or most of the Mercury appeared to be standing in front of the refs and shouting at them.

Ann Myers-Drysdale was one of the two calling the game. She mentioned several times that the Mercury needed to start trying to make shots rather than trying to draw fouls. It really appeared to me that their game plan was to try to draw fouls, and if they didn't, to bellyache about it. The coach certainly didn't appear to be trying to change their approach, and she joined in, too. The Mercury lost by 31 points. The refs didn't beat them, the Lynx did.

There's been some discussion in this thread about Brondello needing to go, and now I see why. They played okay Thursday night, but Saturday they were a hot mess. They're starting three American Olympians, one Canadanian Olympian, and they have an Australian Olympian coming off the bench. And they're sub-0.500.

Brondello has been underachieving w/ that franchise for years. I guess the stars on the team support her, but she should've been out quite some time ago. There are definitely some mediocre or worse coaches in the league.

Actually last night was the best game Quinn of Seattle has coached this year. The Third quarter when Seattle went flat couldn't defend or score. She put in Ezi, and switched to a zone. Suddenly Seattle had space on offense, and was making plays on the defensive end. Was worried everytime I heard the horn she was going to take Ezi out.

Sami is torching the Wings! 12 pts on 5-6 shooting, 3 reb., 2 assists in the first quarter. How did Seattle let her get away?

Morriah getting more than token minutes and looking effective. 3-7 for 6pts, 6 assists 0 TO 3Rb in first half.

Entertaining game. Back and forth. Lib up 4 at the half. Whitcomb cooled off but still leading everybody w/ 15 pts, also has 5 reb. Ionescu got off to a slow start but then got going in Q2.

Would like to see Moriah, and Mabrey to start the 2nd half, 3-9, 1st half not good for Arike, and Whitcomb having a field day.

Halftime segment showed the Liberty Locker room at Barclays. Nice digs. Owner Tsai says the Liberty amenities should equal the Nets amenities.

It's raining 3's for the Lib in Q3.

Ionescu is looking like herself. Carving up the Wings dishing and splashing 3s.

Ionescu looking like Paige. :p:p:p

By the way, Battle still doing commentary

NY beats Dallas 99 - 96.
Sami has 26 pts and Sabrina 13 pts, 12 asts double double.

Sami. Whitcomb. Went quiet in Q2 and Q3, then was an assassin down the stretch. Finished w/ 26 pts, 10-16 shooting, 6-11 behind the arc, 7 rebounds and 4 assist. Lib w/ a franchise record 15 made 3's, hold off a feisty Dallas squad for a 3 point win.

18 pts/7 reb. for Laney, 13 pts/12 assists for Ionescu, Jones and Gray w/ 16 and 11 off the bench.

Harrison was huge, led the Wings w/ 23. 16 for Sabally, 15 for Mabrey.

I can't help myself. There are only 2 Washington alums in the WNBA, but they are both ballin' this season!

I would watch a NY-Dallas game every night of the week if I could. they seem to bring out the best in each other (at least from offensive end). 11 players in double figures between the two teams (13 players who scored at least 8 points).

Good to see Sabrina looking more like Sabrina. Imagine if they ever get Howard back...

Sabrina is great but at times she scares me with high risk plays.
