Mercury / Fever rematch now on NBA-TV. Interested in seeing how Hartley looks in her second game back and if Kia Nurse continues her hot 3pt shooting.

Doesn’t look like Hartleys gonna play

I don’t know but she looks to be in sweats. I could be wrong though
I think they said in the beginning that only Alanna Smith is out with some injury.

.-.
Which is more likely to repeat in the 2nd half--Allen playing out of her mind for the Fever or SDS not hitting a single FG for the Fever?

Good Call. But I would say SDS's defense totally dominated the start of the 3Q and Kia Nurse simply giving Fever a major headache. ;)

Well not surprisingly Allen couldn't keep up her first half pace, but SDS never did get going offensively. Nurse and Griner providing plenty enough scoring for the Merc to pull away.

That's probably a really good sign for Phoenix, Taurasi and SDS are combined 3-12 shooting and 10 points, and they're still gonna win (barring a complete collapse).

'Three' Cheers for Vivians ending her 0-19 from 3 with 2 3 pointers

Edit

add another.

Oops, I might've jinxed Phoenix. 14 point lead is down to 4, still w/ 3 minutes left.

Vivians got them going with 2 3's and McGowan has been a major stud. All hands on deck for the Mercury.

Taurasi and McGowan still jawing after the game ended. Yelling at each other across the court.

I guess Diana was standing up for Nurse who was steam rolled trying to block out McGowan but nothing dirty. I wish Diana did not feel the need to trash talk but too late I guess.

To paraphrase Ron White, she has the right to remain silent, but she does not have the ability.

Looked like 2 players getting tangled up fighting for rebounding position, it happens. The theatrics afterward were not necessary. And really not necessary several minutes later after the game was over.

The Sun are putting a hurtin’ on the Wings. Hiedeman has something like 11 straight points; love that kid.
Dallas with abominable shooting numbers. Since this is one of those Amazon Prime games, cant tell if Conn defense was elite or Dallas just hoisting away

The Wings missed a few open looks, but the Sun defense was also incredible. January was all over Ogunbowale; the Wings had to work really hard on offense. The Sun looked unbeatable tonight.

Seattle shooting lights out from 3. (10-14) Sue Bird out of her slump 4-4. Up 50-33 with 3' left in Q2

Oh crap. Stewie pulling up a bit lame? Went off court to be looked at.

The record shall reflect that Arike was 2 of 17. She and Mabrey combined to take 33 of Dallas's 64 shots and were a combined 8 of 33 (2 of 15 from 3).

Storm needed that (well other than the Stewie injury). They've been shooting poorly for weeks, the dam burst in a big way tonight. Pretty much everybody played well in this game.
