Sun's vaunted defense just has not been a factor in this series, other than Game 2. Sky have had no trouble scoring throughout. This is looking like a shootout, which I gotta think plays to Chicago's favor.

Sloot has 13 in Q1. I think January's defense is missed. Sloot has been carving them up dishing the ball during the series, but she hasn't scored like this.

To be fair, now a couple of good defensive plays by Parker versus Charles and Thomas.

Sky had an 18 point lead, sliced in half. Turning the ball over like crazy. Sloot has 7 TOs. Sun run coincided w/ Stevens catching an inadvertent elbow and having to leave the game.

Sky scoreless for last 5:23 of Q3. Sun didn't really take advantage of it, they had plenty of TOs of their own. Sun mostly on traveling and offensive fouls, Sky mostly on sloppy passes. 65-58 heading into Q4.

That might do it. Parker HIGH off the glass w/ the left for a 15 point lead, 3 minutes left.

JJ finally playing like an MVP, but getting very little help other than Heideman and her 3's.

A. Thomas has been generally good in the series...but you do kinda have to question her returning just before the playoffs started. This has definitely not looked like the same team we saw all season, especially since the Olympics break. Don't think they had time to reintegrate her and it threw everything off.

Sun need better guards to win a Title. J. Thomas just not good enough as a PG to do the job. I think by now that seems fairly readily apparent.

I've been critical of Candace many times. Have to hand it to her, she's been really good in the playoffs and obviously has made a big difference for Chicago. Congrats to the Sky.

Azure very good. 3-4 from 3 and active on the boards. How she shot < 20% 3's at UConn is beyond me.

Copper was probably the best player in the series, but big contributions from Parker, Sloot, Stevens. Kinda up and down from Quigley. Not a lot from the bench.

Copper looks like the most explosive player in the League and a very good finisher. Saw a little snippet where she said she is the best teammate since she will be happy to go out and get snacks for her teammates or pick them up for as ride. Free Agent who should get some major bling.

Phoenix has jumped out at least 8-0 EVERY game this series. Looks like Laimbeer hasn't made a single adjustment at any point. LV starters just don't appear to give a damn.

28-24 Merc thru Q1. Peddy has gone from couldn't hit water falling out of a boat a couple games ago, to now absolutely can't miss. 11 pts in the quarter.

That non-contact injury looked like alot of contact. Mercury depth at guard position a real problem now.
