Unbelievable game. 92-92 OT but Storm defense in particular playing stupid. Like they have no tape on the Aces. This one changed in a hurry. Vegas is unraveling. Plum's 3 point shot has completely deserted her this series.
Do not see how the Storm come back and nothing CT or the Sky has shown puts them in the Aces class. They play so free. Becky's fingerprints all over their team including great play calling.
anyone that criticizes the lg mvp should prob not talk basketball lolll whoever those ppl are.1). Can the A'ja Wilson disappears in the play-offs chatter stop now? Didn't think that was fair considering the team is Seattle.
2). The comments made before the buzzer sounded caught my ear. I wasn't aware that Hammon had publicly said their playing style had been selfish at some points of the season. It's scary to think what may be possible if they had been more cohesive during the season.
Well, that might be me, but I've given her props for 2 monster games in a row. She was very critical of herself following the '21 playoffs, and now she's stepping up.1). Can the A'ja Wilson disappears in the play-offs chatter stop now?
I watched the last half of the 3rd Q, 4th Q and OT yesterday. Until the end of regulation it was as good a game as I’ve seen recently with both teams going back and forth. There are clutch plays and big shots all around.I usually do not watch the WNBA but I have been watching the playoffs. in particular, the Aces/STORM series. These games have been exciting, the Stewie/Aja match up reminds me of Russell/Wilt games of yesteryears, both Aja and Stewie giving all they have to win. Not sure who I want to win just want the games to be exciting.
I think I heard during the broadcast that Bird, Stewie and Loyd played the entire 2nd half, never got subbed out. With that in mind, probably not that surprising they didn't have much left for an extra session. The storm just ran out of gas in OT
I don't think the Aces starters are getting much rest either. They have been getting a lot of playing time throughout the entire season. Maybe they are used to it compared to Seattle's starters.I think I heard during the broadcast that Bird, Stewie and Loyd played the entire 2nd half, never got subbed out. Yes indeed!! Yesterday was an epic day for basketball. What a great day of basketball!
That's a good point. Hamby was back but barely played. Basically Williams was the only reserve for the Aces. Okay, well never mind that.I don't think the Aces starters are getting much rest either.
