I wonder if that means Wheeler isn't coming back. I know everybody w/ the Aces was always overflowing with praise for Colson...but I don't think she's exactly primary backup PG material.
Wheeler wasn't coming back at $222,000 (see link on my previous post about remaining UFA's).
You're right about Colson not really being the next obvious choice for back-up PG, but I guess Steph White didn't think Grace Berger merited a chance at that, either, since they put her on the waiver wire this week, as well.
New front office regime is bringing in a lot of vets to apparently go for it this year before the CBA is over after the season.
That said, I wonder who merits a look at PG.
