Would Carrington have emerged the way she did? Would they have traded for Mabrey?
To continue those rear-view ruminations:
- Would Mabrey have requested a trade if she knew Carter was no longer going to be around after the season?
Or did she just want to get away from the organization?

Looking forward:
- What will Morgan Tuck decide to do at the center/big forward spot? See how Oliva Nelson-Ododa can handle the starting role?
Bring Brionna Jones back? Or try to do something rad for a year? Sign Emman Meesseman to reunite with the coach of her Belgian National Team? Or, to answer @cancontent 's question, does Tina Charles "come home to Connecticut" one more time?
- As for the 12th pick, I've got a suggestion which I think works: draft Maddy Westbeld. Three-level scorere, solid rebounder, WNBA-like build and they'd have her under a rookie contract going into the CBA. Yes, it's a Domer-homer pick, but Westbeld's the real deal.

Would have to think the Mercury negotiations with Sabally would take precedence.
Besides, wouldn't AT and Hines-Allen be virtual duplicates of each other? ;)

On the other hand, I could see her giving solid minutes in both LA and Dallas.

There’s a bid for Nashville to land an expansion WNBA team named the Tennessee Summitt in honor of legendary Lady Vols coach Pat Summitt and facilitated by Candace Parker and Peyton Manning.

Bill Haslam is the leader. Faith Hill and Tim McGraw are also on board.

Monica Wright Rogers Will be GM of the Toronto Tempo

Has put in time in a lot of capacities, as a player, assistant coach, administrator, etc. (Solid player in college and for the Lynx.) She'd been with the Phoenix Mercury for two years, but this still struck me as a bit of a leap to be the first-ever general manager of a franchise. Is she a rising star or is there that small a hiring pool in these positions? Plus, the Mercury haven't exactly been lighting it up the last few years.

@azfan -- Given your knowledge, is there anything you can impart?

No Intel. Rogers had very little visibility in PHX.

I didn't know she was part of management.

Press release when she was hired by Mercury

Love it! We need more W representation in the south. What would be their color scheme? It would feel wrong if it differed from Tennessee's colors. Maybe they'll use Summit blue as the dominant color with different accent colors? :p

I would love a 20 or 24 team league. That seems like the perfect size. Adding Nashville would bump it up to 16 including Golden State, Portland and Toronto.

With 20-24 teams I could see them divide the league into four divisions of 5-6 teams with a 12 team playoff (like the CFP). The four regular season division winners get a bye while the remaining top 8 ranked teams (based on Wins/Losses) play for a spot in the "Elite 8" against the division winners.

It looks like it does, but it also looks kind of like the Sky's colour scheme sometimes to me. Kind of like the "is the dress blue or white" debate many years ago.
