Dang that's a bummer, I liked Sanders a lot. She was great at NC and then disappeared for many years and randomly popped up as an important impact player for the Mystics and helped them to a title. Very unorthodox career path but glad it ended on a high note. Wish we saw more of her from 2008-2017.
I think she was in Turkey. She even got Turkish citizenship and played for their Olympic team.

Not so sure that is a good thing, Angel, A'ja, and Liz all want the ball. Didn't they also sign Gray from the sparks? They might not have enough basketballs.

They'll have to play with a Nike AND a Wilson.
They have salary cap issues. Meesseman may play if Belguim is eliminated early during qualifying. She may sign with the Mystics for the prorated salary they have left in the salary cap. But it will be her last season in Washington.
A'ja is a Wilson. Maybe they can trade for a Nike.
