Great question.Wait, didn't NY draft Walker and then dump her after a year? Why are they bringing her back again?
As a Mercury fan I anticipated that the absence of BG would have a significant impact on the team. That combined with a first-time head coach who really seems out of her depth means for me makes Mercury the worst team in the W.So...who is the worst team in the league? NY seems to have moved themselves out of the conversation with their recent play. Minny, Phoenix, Indy, probably one of those three. Of those, Phoenix has no business being at that level.
From the twitter world
Crystal would look good in a storm uniform, good backcourt with January, cut their 11th person they signedSo the Liberty basically traded Durr for the rights to Carrera, cut Dangerfield so that they could bring Walker on to cut her so that they could bring Dangerfield back so that they can cut her when Johannes comes aboard.
Have I got that right? If not, no problem, I have to go down to the workshop to get a new set screw to fix my spinning head.
I like Dangerfield and think she has what it takes to run a team. Her size has largely been the issue but I can't understand MN cutting her when their entire roster is a work in progress.
The Storm likely need a younger guard as Sue, Prince and January aren't exactly young. It's time for Seattle to build for a future and that may or may not include Stewie.
Gabby is likely what she is in the W. She's incredibly athletic and has skills but her offensive game has shown to be limited in the league. She would be on my team but I'm not sure if she could be a starter.
The only thing she needs to keep under control is TO's and a little more consistency. Unfortunately, the results of the team affect how she is considered.Watching the Lynx/Liberty game yesterday, Sabrina was on FIRE! She was torching my Minnesota Lynx team. Wow!!
That sucks. Maybe Cox (or some one else) makes her way back as a hardship signing?Sylvia Fowles ruled out indefinitely…. Like the lynx needed anymore injuries
Would hate to see her career end on a note like that after all she has done.Sylvia Fowles ruled out indefinitely…. Like the lynx needed anymore injuries
Elissa Cunane is already there on a hardship signing (for Achonwa or Dantas?). Another option would be to go slightly smaller and rotate Shepard into the post role and have Carleton play more. In either case, it's not optimal, that's for sure. Hope Syl can heal well and quickly and get back at some point. That sucks. Maybe Cox (or some one else) makes her way back as a hardship signing?
According to Reeve, they will play smaller . Byn the way, it seems Moriah will be back .Elissa Cunane is already there on a hardship signing (for Achonwa or Dantas?). Yes but reduced minutes to startI'm hearing Dantas may be as well.
Only makes sense. Last thing the Lynx need is her to regress because they rushed it.Yes but reduced minutes to start
For me at least , the Sun - Sky game is on the twitter live feed which is what the WNBA site says it is

Love Gabby's hustle, but Seattle isn't going to win many games playing 4 on 5.I like Dangerfield and think she has what it takes to run a team. Her size has largely been the issue but I can't understand MN cutting her when their entire roster is a work in progress.

Bird's D is about as lacking as Wiliams' O, so it's 4 on 5 on both ends of the court.Love Gabby's hustle, but Seattle isn't going to win many games playing 4 on 5.
