I don't think it's getting much fanfare, but McCowan has been having an impact for Dallas, she's regularly putting up good numbers off the bench.
Her demeanor has relaxed. Does not freak out when calls go against her. Seems to be in alot better shape to.

Whoa, Fowles is playing. I thought her injury was possibly thought to be season ending, and thus career ending. Glad she gets to be back out on the court during her swan song.

The Lynx had to cut Milic. Somebody should pick her up quick.
I was thinking along the same lines. To wit:
  • Wow. Went from starting to leaving the building. What a business.
  • If someone has a need for a big who can score and has a hardship release, find Milic. Fast.

LA has talent, but wow they don't look good. I really don't think benching Canada for Tolliver is the answer. Chicago running them out of the building early, even w/ the Sky missing probably 4 gimme layups.

12 pts. and 10 rebounds in just under 15 minutes. Izzy Harrison collects 16 in the starter role so Dallas gets excellent production from their bigs. Heck, even Charli Collier got to contribute, with 6 pts and Awok Kuier had 7 pts. and 3 blocks. Kuier floats around all over on offense, but she can swat the ball on D.

My goodness. Sky up 54-25 at the half. Parker on triple double watch. She'd already about be there, but she's not scoring much. That part should come easy enough. Only needs 1 more assist.

Carter nailed to the bench, and Cambage spends 50% of the game resting on the bench. Those 2 have collectively added almost nothing for LA.

Storm win again, this time against Mystics w/ EDD.

Loyd w/ 22, Magbegor 20, Stewie 19. Bird 12 pts/8 assists. Gabby's offensive explosion looks like it was a one off. She had a single bucket tonight.

Parker got her triple double right at the end of Q3. Sloot has only played 16 minutes, and I wouldn't be surprised if she sits out the entire 4th quarter. Sky got pretty sloppy for a while, but still up 71-47.

Weird stat line for Sloot--15 points on 6-8 shooting, only 1 assist. She did have several that should've been assists, but teammates couldn't knock the shot down.

Entire 4th quarter was garbage time. Pretty much the 2nd half was garbage time. LA is a disaster. I'm not sure how they have 6 wins, but they should continue to sink in the standings. Minnesota playing much better than their record currently, so I'd say Indiana, Phoenix and LA are in a knock down brawl to determine worst team in the league. One of those teams is very young. The other two have entirely too much talent to be this bad.

Does the WNBA have relegation, like they do overseas?

This slate of games all decided by double digits. Just after I was convinced the WNBA was more competitive with alot of single digit games, a rough set of games and of course televised.

If Mercedes can get healthy and be able to play at the end of the year, Seattle will be very good.
Gabby just needs to relax, and shoot the ball, you can't score if you don't shoot.
Last night Stewie, EDD didn't shoot well, but next game they will still shoot.

No contest the Mercury are without a doubt the worst team in the league. Last night was the third time they've given up 100 points reflecting a complete disinterest in defense. It's odd that a veteran team like this would go through the motions particularly at the defensive end. We've already discussed on the board the disaster in selecting a rookie coach. It's a pain to watch this team play.

After rushing to a 22-11 lead the Mercury essentially stopped. Collectively the disinterest was palatable.
