current record...................... season goalGoing to wait till after Brown game to update. Losing these New England games puts us in a tough spot. these are games we can not afford to lose.
Looking to go 5 - 1 over the next 6 games. Have 3 home games vs BE first place team USF (tied with Louisville ). Then a home game vs UMass and an away game vs Bryant. These games ( except for UMass) will help our RPI. I will track the next 5 games on chart below.

No problem HuskyHawk. I actually enjoy doing it and I hope people enjoy it also. I have always tried to follow UConn baseball since my days at Uconn ( graduated '82). With gametracker and WHUS online it is much easier now than it was in the 80's, 90's and early 2000's. Also a good friend on mine has a son on the team ( a senior), so I have been following then even closer than before. We will be tailgating at New Britain this Friday ( not with alumni association ), . If anyone is there early come by and say hello.Ucjoet, thanks for doing this. Helps those of us who can't follow the team closely.

We do have 17 games left. For us to get to my original goal of 38 wins before the BE tourney we would need to go 15 - 2. Obviously nothing is impossible, but that would be a major turn around from the way we have been playing. We have 8 non BE games, 5 vs NE teams and 3 vs George Mason that has an RPI of 245. We need to go 8 - 0 vs these teams. That leaves us with having to go 7 - 2 in last 9 BE games. Not an easy task for either, but that is what I am rooting for. If not we need to get hot and win BE tourney.Chris Jones (@JonesCcj)

Huskies have the exact same record 23-16 as they did last season at this point. Team ended up going 6-9-1 to close the regular season.
Just stating the obvious - but they need to do much better than 6-9-1 down stretch. Hope it all comes together before tourney!
