Staff has felt confident that they can get waiver but it sounds like at best it's 50/50.

The Beverly case really blew this sort of situation wide open. I'm hopeful I think he can help us a lot this year

With AG out for now he's a big help on wing to spell TL & improves versatility of offense....playing the 3 guards 38 min not a good recipe for success.

Ideally he gets his feet wet vs. AZ / Auburn before we start AAC play....that gives NCAA 10 days to make up their friggin' minds already....guessing a no though.

My take on this is the NCAA is taking their time because there is absolutely no chance Wilson gets a waiver so whenever they announce their decision it won't matter because he wouldn't have missed any games anyway. I just don't see how he gets a waiver. It's a pretty cut and dry case.

If he redshirts the rest of this year, he will preserve a full year's worth of eligibility. At this point, he's missed a significant chunk of this season so it could be a big decision for him.

Really? I feel the opposite. If this team can maybe spring an upset at Arizona or at least beat Auburn, and if the coaches feel like Sid can get us over the hump and into the tournament, then play him. If they think we will miss post season play with or without him, then redshirt him.

Reports from practice last week have him being one of the best players on the floor, so yeah if gets the waiver he better play.
