If you can’t beat em……."....and *** one!" Paige to Heckel
If you can’t beat em……."....and *** one!" Paige to Heckel
14 players if both Heckel & Williams commit.surprised about Heckel
very good player but could mean a 14player(15 if sera williams commits)
roster with only 2 seniors
at most 9-10 get PT
perhaps, after all the injuries over the last few years and the ease of transfer with the portal GA
is comfortable with this amout of players
We can hope, after all Spring brings new life.Last week of classes.
Beautiful Spring day.
Do the rich keep getting richer?![]()
Just for comparison, Hidalgo (uNd) is 5'6" so I would think quickness is also a trait. TOUGH Defense feeds the offense, and TOUGH Defense requires energy, and fresh legs stirs the TOUGHness in the positive direction.Yes, last season Geno had two Pg's on the floor (sometimes three) for the majority of minutes and the previous season three (Paige,Nika,KK). The only downside, KK, Kelis and Heckel are all in the 5'9" range.
The roster, and the National Championship! I am in full agreement! Its the final that matters.![]()
Oldude, see my post #37 in this thread. It lists 15 players if both Serah Williams and Kayleigh Heckel come, which would also give us 3, not 2 Seniors. Azzi, Caroline and S Williams14 players if both Heckel & Williams commit.
As long as they are not on injured reserve. Here's to praying that all of the UConn women recover to more than their previous full strength and are able to play all year from the opening tip of the opening game! Can't wait for the "Could UConn's Third Team Make the Top 25" thread......![]()
14 players if both Heckel & Williams commit.
It should be 15: Azzi, KK, Ash, AP, Carol, Sarah, Serah, Jana, ICE, Morgan, Allie, Blanca, Gandy, Kelis, and Heckel.14 players if both Heckel & Williams commit.
On the contrary, this means the world to me lolI know it means nothing but Kelis Fisher is now following Serah on Instagram....
Not sure why Kayleigh chose U$C, but this can be Kayleigh's chance to erase that "error" and take her "rightful" spot at the World Capitol of Basketball, and in three more years, we will "Know the rest of the story!" [Paul Harvey's News and Comment was brought to you by Banker's Life and Casualty Company, Chicago, Illinois...]I like this bit of information from her USC bio:
"Lists Sue Bird as her biggest sports hero... Nickname is "K9"..."
KK is a beast on defense for sure, but I think Henkel is actually faster. And she has a sweet looking shot, at least from mid-range.KK is quicker and faster than Heckel and a beast on defense.
Whoever is faster, I'm encouraged by the thought that we could have two really speedy little guards.KK is a beast on defense for sure, but I think Henkel is actually faster. And she has a sweet looking shot, at least from mid-range.
Certainly not a coincidence - look at the assistants, with respect to their record as head coaches prior to their hire (return for Jamelle and Tonya (most successful of the three, and only one with a winning record) / first time out for Morgan). That's not meant to be a knock at all, just predictive, aligned to core values of the program - once a Husky, always a Husky.Interesting that we see a recent pattern of coach relationships with transfers. Geno has a good relationship with Gotlieb and of course there is the Marisa relationship. Previously, Chen and Dorka had head or asst coaches that were previously UConn players.
think it would be 1514 players if both Heckel & Williams commit.
#13 per ESPN Hoop GirlsJust curious. where did Rating services have Henkel Ranked coming out of HS, and if local (NY) at that time, had Uconn shown recruiting interest
she was annoying Paige with tough defence. If that flex doesn’t convince Kayleigh to pick UConn, I don’t know what will.
Heckel visited Vandy, ND and Michigan St last week/weekend. Uconn wasn't on the original list.
