The New England Sea Wolves. Now that was some bad turf.

Some year, decade or century, Waquoit insists Hartford will win. Hence, the sort of Insurance City’s local USL team someday may not lose a game. Even tonight, the latter may be possible in the one time Steel City.

Yeah not a great start.

In the 30th minute Pitt turned it over to Hartford.

Hartford gave it back on a pass a middle schooler wouldn’t make and the Hartford forward (Gentile) screamed at the top of his lungs ‘what the blank’ while jumping and squeezing his fists.

Field looks cool with the river behind it.

Hartford’s body language is hilarious. They did finally put together a half chance that they wasted.

Pitt converts a penalty 3-1.

I’m sure I’ve seen a worse penalty call in professional soccer but I’m blanking.

Impossibly bad call.

If you ever wondered why Hartford sucks so much, remember their goalkeeper gave up this...
HA's issues may be a wee bit more broadbased than just a carp keeper, but a -15 goal differential sure helps contribute to a record of 0 wins, 0 draws, and 7 losses.

Three years or less until they fold
I think that is a fair over/under. But Hartford has some mojo right now. If the city can support this squad it would be a very positive sign.

It all comes down to the stadium. If it’s cool like the Dunk they might hang around a while.

The travel costs in this league are insane.

I agree. It all comes down to atmosphere and building a following. The Yard Goats had the following from the Rock Cats and then the new stadium just blew folks away and attracted a whole new set of fans.

If Dillon can do the same, this team will be around for awhile. Just gotta build up the atmosphere and do the stadium right.

Unfortunately, I think they're going to cut corners to get them in this season and screw it all up.
