It all comes down to the stadium. If it’s cool like the Dunk they might hang around a while.

The travel costs in this league are insane.

They have like a bazillion teams in USL. Why they aren’t breaking down the regions more is beyond me.

Maybe it’s just the dumb roadtrip because no stadium. But they go back and forth like crazy.

Geographical knowledge being such a strong skill set for a few US Americans, it’s shocking ...

Well, they are making progress on a place to play but it still looks a ways off. (click photo to enlarge)

What kind of deal do you think they get for
only opening 1/3rd of the stadium?

Next few matches are against clubs at the bottom of the table, hopefully we'll see a little more competition.

My brother went to Costco and as a result we will have brats and sausage in addition to hotdogs at our tailgate. Stop by if you go to the game. We'll have the Duff Beer flag.

Great view of broken windows in the old Colt Building from the stadium.
Actually none of the windows are broken. It's window shades at different levels. In reality, the neighborhood is vastly improved especially with the new Hooker Brewery tasting room just down the street.

But don't let facts stop you from exposing your.....

I don't care what you say whale, you are a glass half-empty guy.

Big deal. When you were watching HA's previous games, all you ever commented about was on the pitch. The team drew over twice the capacity of their new home field. And now that they had a decent game, most of the possession and earned a point you change the subject to something you can bitch about. That's all I'm saying. I'm not sure you know how negative you've become.

This is a pic I snapped just before kick-off. 11,300 was announced.

I guess we can go back and check. I remember commenting on Pittsburgh’s stadium being pretty cool.

They got a good crowd for their first game - I said that. If the new stadium is a good environment they will do well. If they play at Rentchler through the summer it will be deader than St Benedicts

You can’t possibly want to talk about the actual quality of the team - they stink out loud.

I’m negative because the teams suck. Rentscher is an old 20 and UConn’s athletic department is a laugh out loud joke.

You don’t think they should cover the gray concrete circling the field? High school basketball padding would have made it look 500% better.
