Who's Rooting for IU to beat Syracuse tonight?

It'd be great as a Uconn fan for a couple obvious reasons.

Umm yes and by about 50 PTs if possible. That said, exCuse should win. IU has one shooter and he is the PG, plays right into the zones gameplan. IU is all hustle and rebounding, they would need to absolutely dominate the inside of the zone and get offensive rebounds. IU is also a really young team, UConn would have a very good shot at beating exCuse but IU doesn't seem to have the personnel.

IU, as caw said, needs some a couple other guys to step upi and make shots. Sheehey will need a big game for them to break the zone.........here's hoping!

Used to root for Cuse but their condescending posts about our conference situation tipped the scales for me. Unbelievable. They rented one championship with Carmelo and still thing their program is superior to Uconn's.

Tyrone Williams is actually their scoring wing. He did little against UConn, but he has been the guy scoring against other teams.

I don't like fixating on old rivals who should be beneath us. That said, an Indiana win/Syracuse loss would be nice because:

1) Indiana winning improves our RPI
2) Syracuse losing might make it easier for us to end up with a better seed in March
3) I duck*ing hate the ACC

Most of my life I have always had a policy of rooting for Syracuse in every non conference game. But that was when we were both in the Big East. But now I can barely explain my excitement even thinking about the side of them losing tonight's game
