Rodney and Daniel added to Facey, Samuel and Brimah is a great start. Will need another combo guard who can shoot it........maybe a true wide body PF/C combo to add to the rotation.........or Chuwkwu.......or all of the above........Hill Abu and Chuk and things will be dandy!

KO is a solid 6'3 and look at him next to Daniel in that picture with the family.......he's a solid 6'6-6'7 for sure already......nice size for sure for a swing.......

If Ollie can land Chukwu and Leron Black, the frontcourt will be dominant.

Need more PGs though--McGlaughlin is looking like a key recruit at this point.

Omar and Purvis are going to lock down the other 2 guard spots in 2014.

Leron black is so intriguing because he's one of those modern stretch 4s; can knock down shots and play above the rim. If we some how land him and chukwu dear god...

I would think this Hamilton signing takes us out of the running for other guards like hill? Fine with that seeing Hamilton is likely to turn into top 15 recruit and burger boy.

Do we really need a center though? Right now we have Facey, Brimah, and Nolan 2 years down the road, and it seems like we want to do PG/combo/SG/SF/C in terms of NBA positions. Obviously since Chuckwu is 10 feet tall I wouldn't mind giving him a shot, but I think we should focus on Hill or Black and keep a third PG in mind if it looks like Boat may jump this year.

Hamilton is going to play SF. Hill at SG. I don't see the problem. That's 2 spots for 3 players, and one of them, Purvis, will be looking to leave after 2014--2015 at the latest. Hamilton, Purvis and Hill could all see 30 minutes if you give 10 of the PG's minutes to Purvis to run point.

UConn has a lot of scholarships to give. This Chukwu kid can better than all of them.

I think Hamilton will end up being a small forward. He's will end up around 6'7" or 6'8". He will be able to help handle the ball as he does so very well at his height. This commitment will now allow them to go after other players in 2014 harder. Could be Hill, Oubre, or Black.

Hill or Oubre. Black is going to be the next Tebow at Florida (not hating). Add Abu/Chukwu and say good night.

If we think Boatright is leaving then we need a true PG. I would love to add AMA. It will be interesting to see how Facey Brimah and Nolan look this year.

We will need a PG. Definitely.

In 2014 we have Samuel, Purvis, and Omar at the guard spots. We need another ball handler in this class. Especially since we have no idea what is gonna happen with Omar or Purvis after the 2014 season. No guarantees on anything, but it seems nowadays, you have to look at everyone as a 3 year player instead of 4.
I hope we will still have boat around, but again -- 3 years

Bet the bank on either Ahmed Hill or Kelly Oubre....

Oubre is a stretch 4, correct? Would live if we could somehow land both. We would be loaded moving forward.

after getting Hamilton I would think that would make it harder to get Oubre seeing as how they play the same position. A Hamilton/Hill combo at the guard/wing spots seems more likely.

No. He's a SF. However, he said UConn is still recruiting him the hardest when we have had Hamilton committed for a week now.

I would take Hill, Black and Chukwu in a heartbeat. That assumes only 4 spots. Peak is a 4 as well, correct? could swap him for Black.

If we have 5-6, which seems likely, we definitely need another true PG. McLaughlin or Karrington would be good fits there.

I'll say it again. We must make Paschal Chukwu a priority. We do not want a CT kid (mind you he's 7'2" and growing) to escape our borders. Chukwu and McLaughlin should be priorities.

Thanks.

That's a shame, but maybe either (or both) are able to play some PF and would be OK with that role. Oubure is supposed to be a great rebounder.

I don't think DeAndre came here expecting to play the 4, but now it's his meal ticket to the NBA.

Definitely, Chukwu would be a priority. By then only Brimah would be the only true Center on the team. I see Facey & Nolan as PFs, with Nolan plays some Center (ie foul trouble of others)... but another non skinny PF would be nice to have, someone like Abu who can bang & has a post game. Possibly Black if he can bang some. We have enough skinny guys...

We'll probably need another SF to back up Hamilton. Hill will play no matter who we have on the team. He can probably swing to SF, if he's 6'5". I agree another ball handling PG would be great. McLaughlin would be nice too, especially if he's a pass first PG, since we'll have plenty of scorers.

I think we'll have 4-6 scholarships for 2014-2015 season. Most likely Daniels will be gone, with the possibility of Boatright.

Need a PG and ideally another front court player

Quite frankly, don't really know how Brimah, Facey would be slotted longer term. Thinking Nolan and Brimah as 5s and Facey a 4.

We need a true PG who can shoot. Bazz will be gone for sure after next season and maybe Boatright leaving only Samuel. Purvis is a questionable as he tries to convert to a PG. McGlaughlin would be my choice. We will also need another big and if we can land both Uconn will be in fat city.
