Who is going to Houston?

Echoing the student turnout was embarrassing. Far fewer than the other teams. Miami student section was rocking all night while ours was crickets. Too bad.

Based on last night, SDSU will have a decided crowd advantage. I was in 239 right behind them and the crowd was big and loud (when things were going well). Hopefully our play keeps them quiet.

What's up everyone?? Long time lurker, first time poster that just booked my flight to H Town!

Couple of questions for those living and hanging in Houston this weekend.

1) Tickets for Monday's game ... stadium is huge, is buying cheap seats and moving down possible?
2) Are there any events/parties/meet-ups scheduled for Monday/Monday night?
3) Seems like consensus is staying in downtown and taking the metro to NRG, is that accurate?

Thanks in advance and looking forward to it!

Is it known with certainty that UConn sections will be 125-119 again? Or could it be somewhere else?

On a flight to Austin right now. Renting a car and driving over tomorrow. Let’s go!

Anyone know when the parking lots open?

As an alternative, how long was the wait for an Uber post game?

We parked in the Fannin St Metro Lot just south of the Stadium, $15 and from there a 5 min metro train to the 1st stop at NRG. Bit of a line to ride back but not bad at all, and easy drive back out of the lot.

The Uber wait was uuuuber long, pretty brutal. More pleasant than those dressed in green and orange though.

A few itineraries for those on the fence leaving tomorrow and coming back Tuesday. Not ideal with the airport splits but for that price…

Getting into San Antonio around 11 tomorrow and immediately driving over no tickets or hotel probably just sleep in the car but given I'll be in Houston around 2 where should I go prior to driving to the stadium

Just tweeted this but if you have Chase points.. this is as good as you can find (although the return flight really stinks at least it’s in/out of Houston). And yes its 49k not 39k.. fat fingered

Yup can attest.

Waited for 30-45 minutes after game until I could even get a driver. Crazy!

Getting an Uber out is going to be near impossible. Best was is to take the metro or bus. It’s free, line moved quickly and they jammed alot of us on there. Wasn’t great but not many other options. Allow plenty of time to get to the game and just be patient after.

Based on the traffic and jammed metro yesterday, might be best to just go to the stadium and hang out at the fanfest.

Is this the light rail? Saw a lot of folks on Twitter had a hard time yesterday.

That might be from the people going north into the city, that line was long. The one going south (one stop to the end of the line at Fannin St lot) took maybe 10 min in line and the ride about 3 min. Was easy for us.

Once out of the Stadium, it was maybe a 10 min walk to the metrotrain, 10 min in line, and 3 min ride and walk to car. For just $15 parking, we we in our car getting on the highway a half our after walking out of the stadium.

Gampel was rocking and the cheer and dance teams were there. Maybe the administration was skimping on paying to send them our? At least Jonathan made it. :)
That's ridiculous that they didn't send them.
