Anyone but Duke

Preferably Auburn, then Florida. I respect Izzo but the media glazing of Michigan State has been one of the reasons they are relevant yet have one championship since Magic

The team coached by the best in college basketball - Houston
Really - any team but Dook
You just keep saying that hoping that someone will take the bait and argue with you about Danny being better.

Houston's running away with the voting.

I wouldn't mind them - actually good to see them back in recent years after their long hiatus from the national spotlight since the Phi Slamma Jamma days. Kelvin Sampson's done a great job there. If I had to pick one, it would be them.
since 2018, they have made the dance every year and lowest seed was a 6, They were 1 seed three times, a 2 seed and a 3 seed
pretty damn impressive

Florida - always best to see the team that knocked you out win it, then you can call yourself the second best team in the country.

I generally find them the most likeable team.

We don't need Duke tying us in NC's. Auburn is ancient. Houston stylistically can be a hard watch.

Another year with no Big Ten champ feels good.
Not even a Final Four after eight teams made the tournament.
Were always a conference of some good teams but no great teams. Purdue may have a chance next year if they can find a couple players in the portal and bring everyone back.

Florida winning big reflects welol on UConn. Absolutely not Cooper Flagg.

I want Houston to win, and was a little shocked by the Tennessee score. A Duke-Auburn final is worst case scenario but probably most likely.

I just can’t believe Dook got 5.3% of the vote on this board.

Those who voted for Dook should be publicly shamed IMO.

That quickly went to 2.4% way to go BY.

I feel much better but we should still do the public shaming thing!

Up to 2.9% completely vomit worthy…….
Welcome to the new Yard.

4 votes for Duke?

Current answer is none of the above.

If I had to rank them,

1. Houston. Not because of Sampson but Elvin Hayes and Phi Slamma Jamma. Houston as a program can use a 'chip.
2. Florida. the old, "I want the team who beat UConn to win the chip" adage. They play good ball and Clayton appears to have some serious onions.
3-Infinity. No one.
Infinity+1. Auburn. One, it let's Charles Barkley have some fun. Two, it's always fun when Auburn can hang something over Bamas head.
Infinity x inifinity x infinity times. dook.

Houston has had a lot of hills to climb. I taught there back in the early 80’s and got into games with just my faculty ID (Free!) That was when Clyde Drexler and Hakeem Olajuwon were playing. There wasn’t enough fan support for these remarkable players.

I'll take my beheading, but I voted for Duke. My hatred of Duke went away with when K left, and oddly enough I liked K it just felt like the rivalry was Calhoun K more than UConn Duke and as someone in my mid-thirties my Duke memories are, they are pompous balloon knots, but they were pompous balloon knots that we beat in the two most memorable games of my pre-enrollment at UConn years. As to why I am rooting for them I cannot root for an SEC school under any circumstance they are ruining college athletics and as someone going to San Antonio, I'd much rather watch Duke play twice than Houston. I have nothing against the players or Kelvin, but it is not a visually appealing brand of basketball. I'd rather watch greatness this Duke team has a chance to be an all timer in the conversation with us last year 09 UNC 01 Duke and a couple others. I enjoy those debates and adding another team to the conversation in my opinion enhances it. Also, we dealt Duke the most painful loss in their history I'd hear an argument for K's finale vs UNC but 99 Duke is the great "what if" in the history of college basketball don't need another Duke failure overshadowing it.

I could give a rats arse what others think
Not looking for an argument because it is what it is.
I'm telling why I think Houston is my pick and if I keep saying it ignore it

Let me ‘splain my Duke vote. It does pain me greatly to admit it.
1. It is more a vote for Flagg than a vote for his team. I figure I we didn’t get him (he was never coming to us) then get your natty and move on.
2. I haven’t seen any players on this years team that I feel deserve a punch in the face (no Laetner or Allen). Although when the camera pans their fans most appear to be punchable.
3. Not Houston. I still have AAC ptsd and they got into B12 and we did not (if you think that doesn’t matter look at the big payroll teams that made it into the FF)
4. FL I could accept winning but they are SEC and I don’t want SEC winning this

Now if you will excuse me I need to go Puke

How Kon Kneuppel has managed to avoid the Hated Duke Guy label is a mystery

That's pretty funny. You don't care what others think of your ideas, yet you put them out on a message board.

What's hateable about him? He doesn't seem cocky at all, doesn't slap the floor, isn't a ball hog, no over the top celebrating...I've never even heard him speak. He's just an incredibly efficient good player.

He has bad 80s hair, for one thing
