Interesting. I'm blank if nobody jumps out at me. If I have to think too hard, then it's not a quick association.

Arizona -
Kansas - Danny Manning
UNC - Jordan
DUKE - Laetner
UCONN (this should be good) - Ray Allen
WV -
Cuse - Pearl Washington
Gonzaga - John Stockton
Ucla - Tie Kareem and Bill Walton
Texas -
Florida - Al Horford
Michigan St - Magic
Michigan - Juwan Howard
St John's - Chris Mullin
Seton Hall - Terry Dehere
DePaul - Mark Aguire
Houston - Drexler & Olajuwon
Georgetown - Ewing

Seton Hall - Dan Hurley lol (Shaheen Holloway probably actually)
Other than DH and Shaheen Holloway, I think the only OBE Hall player I can think of is Jeremy Hazell. Remember him?

The first name I though of was Big East POY Dan Callandrillo.
Too funny. I've been feeling old as I approach 30 but this gives me a new lease on life

Not so much that Hazell played long ago, more that he was a relatively under the radar guy on a completely inconsequential team

Davidson- Steph Curry (also the only player I know that went to Davidson)
There was a very good player named Mike Maloy when Lefty Drisell coached them before he moved on to Maryland. Geez I'm old

I've noticed something odd over the years: well, maybe it's not so odd given such a memorable name, but whenever I mention PC basketball, non-PC fans will mention 1 player specifically....God Shammgod (fans in my dads age group will probably say Ernie D)

Now God was really good, not the best the program has known (that honor probably goes to Ernie D), but he still gets the mentions.

The point of this thread is not PC specific. Who do you associate, top of mind, with the following programs? Not, who do you think is the best. Not, the most underrated. Just the name that comes to your mind:

Which player (not coach) is linked with:
Arizona
Kansas
UNC
DUKE
UCONN (this should be good)
WV
Cuse
Gonzaga
Ucla
Texas
Florida
Michigan St
Michigan
St John's
Seton Hall
DePaul
The rest of the current/former BE

Or any school you wish. There is no right answer.

Arizona - Mike Bibby
Kansas - Danny Manning
UNC - MJ (James Worthy, Vince Carter honorable mention)
DUKE - Grant Hill
UCONN - Ray Allen
Cuse - Derick Coleman
Ucla - Baron Davis
Texas - Kevin Durant
Florida - Joakim Noah
Michigan St - Magic
Michigan - Fab 5
St John's - Chris Mullin
Nova - Kerry Kittles
PC - Austin Croshere/God Shammgod
Georgetown - AI

NC State David Thompson
Arkansas Sydney Moncrief The Triplets
Purdue Rick Mount Joe Barry Carroll

Wow great additions and same names I would use. Great call Rick Mount. Made me think:

Memphis State Larry Kenon
Jacksonville Artis Gilmore
Western Kentucky Jim McDaniel
Minnesota Mychal Thompson
Maryland Tom Roy/Len Bias
Ohio State John Havlicek/Jerry Lucas

Gotta give Kemba the edge over Ray for winning a title. Sure Ray is a Hall of Famer and Kemba isn't, but it's what a player did in college, not the NBA. Laettner was all-world in college, but not a great pro.

Ray was really good in college every one of his 3 years. Kemba not so much but he was really great and won a NC his third……anyone who picks either guy is right!

Interesting choice in Emeka, Rich. You’re one of the “elders” here. Would love to hear your take on why you chose him.
I tend to favor bigs. In my mind, Emeka was the most impactful big we ever had.

That Hall team was absolutely robbed of the national title.
