There have been all sorts of opinions on this, but when do you think we realistically see Bouk back on the floor? Or are you in the camp that thinks we've seen him in his last game as a husky?
 
We haven't gotten any clarity from Hurley so nobody really knows. He clearly told Jeff Goodman the day after the surgery that James will be back in 2-4 weeks but Hurley has been all over the map on what he's told the public since then.

The rehab process is very important for these injuries to recover the strength in the elbow. Let that play out first... we’ll hear more of it early February.

Not sure why you would say that. There's no indication that this would be the case, and even if it's 6 weeks from the surgery, that puts him back late February (for those who haven't looked at the schedule, our last two regular season games are in March). The kid wants to play and it was sort of a flukey injury that shouldn't affect anything long term. He's a big time competitor and I guarantee you he will do everything he can to get back on the court ASAP and make a tourney run with his guys.

I hope I’m wrong. I’m 100% just speculating based on the tone of Hurley’s most recent quote.
 
Isn't four weeks next Tuesday?

Injured on January 5th. I'm pretty sure there are still 7 days in a week. So the 2nd of February - next Tuesday - is 4 weeks.

It's way, way past two weeks.

I believe around 4 weeks from surgery on 1/12 . So if we still don't have any clear indications around Xavier game on 2/13, then maybe Chief has some intel and 8893's prediction looks like it may be.

Four weeks from surgery would be Feb 9th. Looks like he a slow healer.

Well, I remember Hurley in an earlier quote saying 4 weeks or a little after that . The 2-4 weeks was just Goodman - don't remember Hurley saying 2 .

I personally expect Bouk to return in Feb. And the 1st person to post that Bouk will be returning to game play is going to get a ton of likes.

Why do people get personally offended by pessimistic takes? He will turn out to be right or wrong, but the result will have had nothing to do with his prediction. I think people who jump down the throat of posters who express pessimistic predictions seem somewhat scared and unstable.

Bottom line is no one knows for sure he will be back and no one knows for sure he wont. So hearing from either side on it is equally valid.

If he turns out to be right (which would suck for the team and us fans)....... the silver lining is someone gets to do this in all the pollyanna's faces.
