TCU was in the old SWC, so in some ways they are back up to the big leagues. Houston and Rice are the two who are still on the outside from the SWC.

SMU football was just about killed by the NCAA
That and Arkansas leaving for the SEC put that conference in a very weak position.
To the point were when ESPN told them to drop 4 teams some of whom they were with since 1916 they did it in a heartbeat.
