Not even supposed to be a hate thread. Just curious to what he's been up to and if he's still playing ball

I know what he won't be doing and that's attending any alumni events at UConn, in particular JC's annual All Star game.

For a guy that's "soft" he sure had some monster rebounding games on a national championship team.

Unfortunately for a guy that's "big and tough" he had some rebounding games where he might as well have stayed on the bench or in the locker room the year after his NC, mostly that way quite honestly. At 6'9"240 he should be ashamed of the way he played his junior year……….soft, awful hands and not loyal!!!!

Your posts about him have always been borderline and creepy. He was a big part of a team that won a national championship and maybe saved the future and stability of the program. Just let it go.

Live and let be. Nobody likes that he left. Nobody likes the Scoe left. Both guys were huge contributors to the 2011 championship, and neither, it turns out, were needed for us to get our last ring. It's not fair to judge the decisions of 20 year olds with NBA aspirations. I think we would all agree that they'd have had a better chance of NBA success had they stayed at UConn, but it was not to be. They likely regret their decisions a lot more than we do. Good luck to them both.

AO is softer than milk-sogged Cap'n Crunch

Maybe not his soph year, but over that summer, he somehow transformed from Alex to Alexis
I still have flashbacks of him complaining about a foul while the opp lays it up on the other end.

AO had about 3 toes in...... tops

It's sad that is your memory of AO.

I think of this when I hear/see his name:

Ya man, I guess I wasn't born with a selective memory like yourself.

My lasting image is him calling JimmyC a punk on social media, while getting manhandled by boys half his size in the paint

Not to mention being a cancer in the locker room

Jesus another thread where mau gets to rip Oriakhi. How boring.

What's even more boring is you giving a rats a**???

A McD AA that when you come down to it, never lived up to his billing in 75% of his games…….amazing to me UConn fans care where he is? Hope he's safe, alive and healthy I do, but as far as basketball if you think of him as a Husky you've missed the boat!

I don't deny that the kid made mistakes here, nor things his father said. And you're right, he was frustrating on the court too.

It's bizarre to see a thread originally asking what the guy is up to, where's he playing, etc, and folks use it as an excuse to come out and bash him.

But at some point you have to move on and forgive the things a kid did wrong, and acknowledge the positive things he did. Personally, I think the monster game he played in the national championship outweighs the bad.
