KML enters this season shooting 44% from 3pt over two years, and is shooting 60% from 3 over four games.

You may think KML is the better 3-pt shooter, but it's not crazy to say that Liston could "arguably" be the best.

Arguably is double speak and means you don't have the guts to take a position. It is different saying for college career vs being best shooter. There is little doubt from the beginning of the 2012-2013 season to date that KML has been the best 3pt shooter. Since the start of 2012-13 season KML is shooting .50 and this year she is shooting .563 and since returning she is shooting .64. It isn't even arguable. Have the guts to admit it.

Um, neither of the two is even in the top 5 nationally for either 3pt shooting percentage or baskets per game, so arguably the whole debate is moot and void. I realize that KLM doesn't have enough attempts yet to qualify, but the leader is shooting 58.8% on 3s so she's no slouch, and Liston at a paltry 53.4% is thus a bit slouchish.

I did not realize Liston was that solid of a 3-point shooter. Seems a fair statement to me in light of those numbers. Having said that, I wouldn't "trade" KML for anyone. But Duke fans must be thrilled they have Liston...

That's what Liston is known for, in the little I've watched of Duke I have been impressed by some other additions to her game.

To me "arguably" - which I use at times - means only that the case could be made; it doesn't mean I don't have an opinion, only that there are other candidates with similar credentials. In many cases, it means that using varying criteria may result in variable results.

For a long time, I would have said Geno was "arguably" the best coach in WBB - now I would say it isn't arguable.
